Do you even take time to reflect and then understand that this is beyond appointment and more to do with the misplaced of excuse of "trust" ? & the impression being given that he is skewing appointments up north (northern muslims) to quell any uprising in the south?

Nigeria is a diverse nation, you can't lead people successfully without getting their full consent, you can rule them by force and power but your name will never be written in gold.

Why do we compare the US with Nigeria when we try to make allowance for ill? Do they have quota system and federal character as part of their constitution?

Does the police in Nashville, Tennessee wait for one IG in DC before moving in and taking care of local security?

The works agency in San Atonio, Texas does not need Obama's goodwill (budget capture) before undertaking road rehab in their domain

Please stop comparing the two, they have nothing in common.

I am not in any way defending any past government. But there is something that is nauseating to me. Why is that since May 29th 2015, every good thing that happens in Nigeria is attributed to our amiable president Muhammadu Buhari's body language. On the other hand, every thing that goes wrong is the fault of the past government or any other person or group. Why take credit for the positive and shift blames on the negative? You want us to allow the president appoint only those he is comfortable with in multi-ethnic and religious country like Nigeria even if virtually all of them are from the moslem north. According to you, the only thing that matters is result. Then I brought it to your notice that since this government started their ' the president trusts or is comfortable with mainly northerners' stuff, things have been going the wrong direction. As usual, your defence is to blame it on the previous government. Wonderful! Before and during the presidential elections, the past government was the issue. 'They former president was not competent, was corrupt,' bla, bla, bla.The present government then promised to change things for the better if given the mandate. Now they have been given what they craved for for more than a decade. Since then, all we get are excuses, blames, excuses, blames, propaganda, lies! The simple fact is that the North wanted political power at the centre by all means. They took advantage of real and perceived shortcomings of the previous government aided vy their coalition with the Southwest that felt they were not well represented in the government oof the former president to vote him out. Now the best the current president can do is to empower his northern people politically, economically, and financially and give the remaining crumbs to the South. It is just about change of power to the North! They seem to be in a haste to occupy every sensitive and juicy position and keep political and economical power in the North till the country seperates or till Christ comes. It is your time. Enjoy it and best of luck. However, God is sovereign and only His will concerning this country will come to pass.

And all of you shouting Northern appointments should be aware of the fact that Buhari is only concerned about those his brothers in the far north - the Hausa Fulani, while those at the north-central are totally left out.

Or how could you explain why people from Taraba, Benue, Kogi, nassarrawa, plateau States are less literate than those from the far north. The most obvious reason should be the dominant religion in their region.

Even in the north, his bigotry champions, let alone his opinions about other zones of the country.

Who the president appoint don't really matter to me... What matters is spreading development across every region and so far no one is complaining about that...
He can appoint all Muslims and fixes my roads in imo. .. why should i complain??
