Don't do self medication bro. I had the same problem last year november. Go to an ENT specialist, syringing will be done on your ear to flush the wax out. That'll be done after they've recommended an eardrop to use for a week. Go to the hospital tomorrow.

You shouldn't have used that ear drop. Very bad move.

You should have taken antibiotics before anything. Try and see a good doctor, they will prescribe a very good antibiotics for you and all your wahala will be gone in three days.

Wow.. Zorry about the stuff. Mine took me almost 2 month, i even went for test, was given a drug list of almost 5k, i use all kinds of ear drops and wax,even prayed self. Until I use hydrogen peroxide, not even up to 2h. And within 2 days I Was okay... You should try it

Get hydrogen peroxide, a drop or two of it softens the wax, and them you'd head a soft pop...And voila! Your ear is unblocked..An ENT will charge you an arm and a leg for this..Trust me, speaking from experience. A drop or two of hydrogen peroxide would do it..

I use to have issues like this. I use a little quantity of hydrogen peroxide and equal quantity of warm water.. Put it in your ear about 6 drops of the mixture and tilt your head and let it stay. It will fizz a lot. So be ready as the fizzing subsides place a clean towel on your ear and tilt it back to drain the liquid. Keep like that for about 3 mins and it will unblock totally.

Locate a DJ with very big loudspeaker. Target d time he plays music to put d volume at d brim. Place d affected ear very very close to d speaker for at least 3 minutes. Thank me later

Man, Dont be Afraid. Let me explain in common man language how it goes: The inner end of the ear canal has d drum that works like a loud speaker or microphone Cardboard by amplifying signal input. And this thing vibrates acording2 the frequency its receiving. It vibrates faster if it receives High pitch frequency like tweeters and co whose frequency is from 2khz to 20khz but a normal human adult can only hear from 50hz to maximum of 11khz. And hearing range decreases as you get older. 50hz to below can only be felt as vibration and not heard. So if you had complaind of both ears, the we should be poing to the Inner ear which loud noise can cause snap or decibel shift ( bending of hair cells...)
So now the eardrum need lubricants @ its coners to function properly that what the ear wax are for. But during raining seasons the wax become too solid to flow out naturally by their self, so they remain in there, and attract fungus. The microbs growwwww and cover the center of the drum which makes it imposible for high frequency reception. It gets to point where you can not hear some women voices as they always talk in 2khz and above. Gradually or suddenly when water enters there the fungus/wax get moist and you hearing becomes muffled!

SOLUTION: you should have not put ear drops as this muffles hearing more by totally restricting drum movement, but they will clear awy may be in 2months or more!
Dont insert cotton buds as they can harm d drum by causing micro hole on it. So now since u have put eardrop, hold you nose, and suck in ur ear drum, dip cotton bud into Spirit, use it to clean the ear canal. Soak piece of foam in spirit, use it as ear plug. The fungus would start clearing. But try not to let d spirit touch the dum center@all. Use it to clean the canal groove. PLS AVOID D EARDRUM. As it will take the eaar drop and wax 1 to 2 months to clear! Try the spirit. You will regain hearing in a week. Dats 60hz to 1khz but you will regain all your frquencies when the ear starts generating fresh wax.

T Pls you also have to check what you are eating. Hav u been staying indoors? Is enough oxygen getting to ear? Have you been exercising? Are you overr weight? Let me stop here. Pls some one who understands should correct my errors.

Stop. Use Cerumoll eardrops. It is specifically for the softening of earwax that causes blocked ears. Use a few drops 2-3 times a day. Keep the ear horizontal for a while to prevent the drops from coming out. Use a wad of cottonwool in your ear to keep the cerumol oil in.

it happened to me last month, ear drop didn't do anything, until I bought hydrogen peroxide and pour inside to boil for some time. I also did same for d right one. Try and get from the chemist store, it will help

Please see the doctor that would cos u less than taking little drugs that wud later amount huge than treatment. And for some Nairalanders, someone wud seek for advice becos they feel like we r sensible but some people will reply with insult n Negative words.
