Around 2 months back when I was going to rest I noticed a ringing in my left ear. I didn't care of it, yet that was there until the morning. I began to feel complete fullness and slight hearing loss from that day and clearly, I thought it was wax and attempted ear drops. I was all the while encountering the same issue even after a week and I consulted a specialist. He said me that I had a slight outside ear sullying and gave me an ear drop for that. Clearly it was the eustachian tube brokenness which brought about the ringing. I had drops and it was okay, yet after a couple of days it started again and this time it was horrifying. Predictable beeping, ringing sound and the filled ear made me crazy. Recently I had a meeting with an audiologist at Westside audiology and he discovered my eustachian tube got clogged and it is almost shut at this point. So he proposed hearing aid for the time till the treatment wraps up. I saw some types of bte hearing aids and I can't actually believe that this little instrument can recuperate such an aggravating issue. Does hearing aids truly work? I don't want to take a risk and can any of you please advice/give suggestions?

I think you need to go for a 3rd and 4th opinion. A clogged eustachian tube can be drained and shouldn't require a hearing aid unless other structures in the middle ear have permanent damage.
