Mmm, do you really know Lars Lagerback? He just took Iceland, a country with population of about 330,000 to the quarter finals of Euro 2016 (their first time in Euro finals) with famous draw with Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal and wins over Austria and England. It wasnt his fault we didnt do well under him but because we are Nigerians and Nigerian factors showed up big time just like it may show up again under future coaches except we work on our flaws

Frankly, based on the entire body of work alone, the best candidate for the SE coaching job was Goran Stephanovic. Go check his records with Ghana and other places he had worked. But then the Nigerian factor kicked in....I can bet that he didn't get the job because Paul Le Guen was willing to give a bigger kickback

In other professions,Nigerians are among the best in the world.The forex to be wasted on foreign coach should be used to further develop our coaches.

Short cut to success,via a foreign coach,is a short cut to perpetual underdevelopment.

On the aggregate,our local coaches have achieved more than the foreign coaches we had engaged,so what the hell?

It is certainly better to swim or sink with a Nigerian coach,than to swim or sink with a foreign coach.

Your Salisu Yusuf doesn't have a single Caf Champions league match win on his CV.
