For me, order might be of o, but still OF or Orders still stands for multiplication. bros, any number in power or orders will still be calculated with X...MULTIPLICATION...

The reason you saw that error there is because initially started my comment with "We were taught..." And funny enough I just saw it now and modified it even before I saw your whatchamacallit.

Don't you think the most important step in building a house is a solid foundation? And besides how many people have you heard failed common entrance exams? lol. In my own opinion, the first true test of how good you are as a student is the external examination - WAEC/GCE/NECO/JAMB.

No No No! That doesn't make it wrong. Different countries use different methods of calculations,just like measurements.but they are all correct.

In this case, America uses PEMDAS where "P" stands for "Parenthesis" and "E" stands for "Exponents/Exponentials",

Britain and Australia use BODMAS and BIDMAS where "O" stands for "Order" and "I" stands for "Indices"

Canada and NewZealand use BEDMAS where 'E' stands for "Exponents/Exponentials"

some even use PIDMAS or PEDMAS where 'P' stands for 'Parenthesis' ,'I' for 'Indices' & 'E for exponents/exponentials'

Nigeria uses BODMAS where 'O' stands for 'of' which is still correct.

Because Indices,Exponents,of and order all relate to "powers and square roots" which is the message they are all trying to pass across in different Languages!


so you see, the cummutative hierarchy within Mathematics (especially in order of operations) is expressive in dimensions explicit to geographical locations and colonization.
