I will like to draw our attention to this short moving story of how a father so loving and forbearing to get his son to finish the race.  This is a powerful analogy of our loving Heavenly Father who runs the race with us and carries us to the finishing line of this pilgrim journey set before us.

It is also interesting to see how the physically challenged son put his trust in his father's ability to carry him through.  How we pray to trust in Jesus and put Him on as we will trust a parachute and not just have a mental accent of Him.

I know my redeemer liveth.
