PASTOR CHRIS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5TH SEE WITH YOUR “FAITH-EYE’’ Things that are seen don’t last forever, but things that are not seen are eternal. That’s why we keep our minds on things that are not seen. (2nd Corinthians 4:8 cev). As Christians we achieve our success, victory, prosperity and progress in life by activating certain spiritual principles that we find in God’s word. One of such principles is seeing the unseen. This means seeing with your faith eye, seeing your miracle first from inside you- your heart. Before the physical manifestation of the glory and supernatural power of God in your life, you must see it first within you. Once you can see it inside your spirit- with the eyes of faith- then that thing is already yours. You can never have it on the outside if you don’t have it first within. That’s where some have missed it. They want to see first with their physical eyes before calling real that which God has promised. That’s not faith. Faith is calling real that which the physical senses can’t perceive. For instance, it’d be wrong for anyone to say of a pregnant woman; “I can’t see her baby so there is nothing in her womb” the fact is the baby is there even though no one is seeing it. Even before her belly got big the baby was there already. The belly only got big because the baby inside grew bigger. At the end of the gestation period, the baby will be born. In the same way, that miracle you are pregnant with- that blessing you’ve already seen and take possession of in the spirit-will manifest if you refuse to vacillate or waver in your faith. With your eyes of faith, see the new job you desire; see your prosperity, health, grace, peace progress, success, deliverance and the salvation of your family and friends. Begin to proclaim with your mouth that which you have already seen within you, not so they will come to pass, but because you know that in the faith realm, they already exist. CONFESSION I thank you father for helping me see my success, wisdom, health, wealth, progress, promotion and every good thing I require to live the good, glorious and victorious life you’ve called me into. PASTOR ANITA SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6TH BE TRANSFORMED BY THE WORD! And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2) To be conformed means to be “fashioned alike”. Therefore not to be conformed to this world means not to be fashioned according to its way of doing things. Having being born again; your spirit is being recreated; person- you became a brand new a new species of being without a past (2nd Corinthians 5:17).however, though your spirit is born anew, your mind isn’t renewed just yet. This explains why though you’re born again, you notice that some negative thoughts and ideas you used to have before occasionally come to your mind. Thoughts of weakness, wickedness, sickness and sin may dominate your thinking if your mind is not renewed by the word. To overcome this, you’ll have to meditate on the word of God daily. Feed your spirit and mind with the word. Adjust and renew your thinking with the word. When your mind is renewed with the word, you’ll think God’s thoughts and His opinions and ideas will dominate your mind. So determine to meditate on the word, not just today, but every day. Through meditation, the word goes through your mind into your spirit, and new thoughts- words- thoughts –would well up in you and dominate your mind. Then your mindset will be transformed from that failure, weakness, sickness and defeat into one of success, victory, health, prosperity and greatness. Prayer I thank you dear heavenly Father for the entrance of your word gives light to my spirit and renews my mind. As I meditate on your word today, I am metamorphosed, and my mind is renewed after the image of Christ Jesus, my Lord Amen. FURTHER STUDY Hebrews 4:12; Colossians 3:9-10 2 Likes |

PASTOR CHRIS SUNDAY, FEBUARY 7TH THE FULLNESS OF THE SPIRIT For him whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the spirit by measure to him. (John 3: 34) When the spirit of God came upon the prophets, priests, judges and kings of old, they received the anointing in a measure. But the bible says of Jesus: “For him who God has sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Holy Spirit by measure unto him” (John 3: 34). Jesus was the first to have the spirit of God (or the anointing) in His fullness. Christians have said this applied only to Jesus (that He lone had the fullness of God’s spirit) and that those of us who are born again today only have a measure of the spirit, meaning we don’t have the fullness of God’s spirit. But in the light of God’s word, that’s not true. The bible says, and of his fullness have we all received, and grace for grace” (John 1: 16) More so, the Holy spirit, as a person, lives in us today in his fullness. So, we have the fullness of the spirit. The bible says in Christ Jesus dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and we are complete in Him. (Colossians 2:9-10) This same Jesus, who had the fullness of God’s spirit, said unto us in John 20:21,”… as my Father hath sent me, even so I send you.” Now think about it: if Jesus require the full measure of the spirit to do the work the father sent Him, and He hath sent us the same way He was sent of the father, why then should we be seen with ‘a measure’ and not the fullness of the spirit? As a new creation in Christ, the divine life of God has completely supplanted the human life with which you were born of your parents. You are new kind of being, infused with divinity! You’ve been initiated into a vital union and openness with the Lord. God’s purpose in this regard is evident in Ephesians 3:19: “And to know the love of Christ which passeth all knowledge, that ye might be filled with the fullness of God. CONFESSION As Jesus is, so am I in this world! When I receive the Holy Spirit I received the full person of the Holy Spirit. I consistently stir up the anointing of God that is in me, which enables me to change circumstances and impact the life of those around me with the gospel of Christ. Amen. PASTOR CHRIS MONDAY FEBUARY 8th NEVER TALK FEAR And my worst fear have all come true (Job 3:25 cev)Many have erroneously thought it was God who permitted Satan to buffet Job and make him suffer so he would be humble. That’s not true! Job’s fear was his undoing! He created a platform for Satan to come in and mess things up in his life by voicing his fears. Job was a man whom God has greatly blessed and protected. Satan knew this, for he said, “hast thou not made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he has on every side? Thou has blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land” (Job 1:10). Satan hath hitherto tried to attack Job and found that the man was heavily fortified by God; there was a spiritual hedge of protection around him. How then did Satan gain access through that hedge to attack Job? Our opening scripture reveals what happened: Job allowed the spirit of fear to take hold of his heart! Despite God’s protection over his life, which even Satan attested to, Job lamented,”… the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came” (Job 3:25-26). Hence God said to Satan “see, all that he has is in your power… (Job1:12). Job’s problem was his fear, and fear hinders faith. Fear is actually negative faith; it’s a demonstration of faith in the ability of the adversary to hurt you. And according to the scriptures, God doesn’t alter his word. The moment Job started talking his fears; he was digging holes in the protective hedge God has built around him. Ecclesiastes 10:8 says, “…whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.” Job delivered his goods to Satan through the perverseness of his lips- by talking and acting fear.Never talk fear or give voice to words inspired by fear. Continually fill your heart with the word of God, “for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” (Matthew 12:34). When you fill your heart with the word, your mouth will of necessity speak from the rich deposit of the word in your spirit. CONFESSION Heavenly Father, I thank you for giving me the spirit of love, power and a sound mind! I declare that fear has no place in me. My mouth is filled today with faith-filled words by which I create circumstances which are consistent with the new creation life I have in Christ Jesus. Amen. PASTOR ANITA TUESDAY FEBUARY 9th RESPOND IN FAITH TO GOD’S WORD And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come out of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so were in their own sight. (Numbers 13:33) It matters how you perceive and respond to the counsel, instructions and admonitions given you in God’s word. To win in life, you must always respond in faith to the word; you must learn to function in the arena of faith, where the only thing that counts is what God has said. You may be facing a challenging situation in your finances. But as a child of God, what do you see?Do you see yourself suffering under the economic crisis as the rest of the world, or you see the truth that says " when men are cast down, then thou shall say, there is lifting up…” (Job 22:29). Caleb and Joshua did not deny the fact that there were giants in the land God promised to the children of Israel, but they were moved by what God has said. Their response when asked to describe the land was based on faith in the word of God. While theirs was a leap on the word, the other ten spies gave a faithless response- an evil report. Never allow what your physical senses perceive- what you see, hear or feel- determine the circumstances of your existence. The bible says, “while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2nd Corinthians 4:18). Let your gaze be fixed on God’s eternal and infallible word and maintain d faith –response all the time. CONFESSION I continually fix my gaze on the word of God. My thoughts, words and actions are inspired by faith in God’s eternal word and leading of his spirit. I am not moved by what I feel, see or hear, but I respond only in faith to the word of God. Hallelujah. FURTHER STUDY Romans 10:17, 2nd Corinthians 4:13, Hebrews 11:1-2 |

PASTOR CHRIS WEDNESDAY, FEBUARY 10th WISDOM IS YOUR CAPITAL Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom; and with all thy getting get understanding. (Proverbs 4:7) Before Jesus, King Solomon was the wisest and the wealthiest man that ever lived. God showed up in his room one day and asked him what he wanted. Solomon had learnt to ask with discretion and precision; he asked for wisdom being fully conscious that every other requirement was embedded in wisdom! Wisdom is the capital you require in life. It’s the prerequisite for productivity, expansion and stability. Wisdom according proverbs 4:7 is the principal thing; it is the capital! The wisdom referred to here is not the one that comes with age or experience, nor is it the wisdom of this world: for the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, he taketh the wise in their own craftiness” (1st Corinthians 3:19). The wisdom that we are dealing with here is divine wisdom- insight into reality. Galatians 3: 27 say, “as many of you that has been baptized into Christ has been put into Christ”; then, colosians2:3 reveal that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hid in Christ. Therefore if you put on Christ by virtue of new birth (2nd Corinthians 5:17), it means you have put on all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. No wonder the bible says you’re complete in Christ, who is made unto us wisdom (colosians 2:10, 1st Corinthians 1:30). So Christ is your wisdom, and that wisdom cannot be improved upon; it’s called excellent wisdom. Walking in this wisdom, which has been made available to you in Christ, is your guarantee for a life of consistent success, victory, and excellence. CONFESSION I’m full of the wisdom of God, for Christ is made unto me wisdom! That Wisdom is in my heart and in my mouth today! I function in it; I’m guided by it; and I’m growing in it daily as I continually meditate on the word and fellowship with the Holy spirit. FURTHER STUDY 1st Corinthians 1:30, proverbs 4:7-9 |

PASTOR ANITA FRIDAY, FEBUARY 12TH ‘JESUS’ THE NAME YOU CAN TRUST The mere sound of his name will signal hope, even among far off unbelievers. (Matthew 12:21, msg). In today’s world, people would judge the quality of a product and use it on the strength of its brand’s name. Our God has his own “brand name” as it were. It’s the name of Jesus! The name of Jesus has been given to us (Acts 4:12). Therefore learning to live in and function by the power of that name is what guarantees the upward and forward life. In Philippians 2:10, we are assured of the efficacy of the power in the name of Jesus: “ that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the father.” The bible chronicles testimonies of healings and miracles done through the apostles, as they exercised the power of attorney to use the name of Jesus. “They came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirit: and they were healed every one” (Acts 5:15). Every other name has its limitations, weaknesses and restraints, but Jesus, “having become so much better than the angels… has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they” ( Hebrews 1:4 nkjv). The name “Jesus” has been proven to be a fortifying wall of protection, which can be trusted and depended upon. His name is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and is safe (proverbs 18:10) CONFESSION Dear father thank you for giving me the privilege and power of attorney to use the precious name of Jesus. I live today in, and by the power of that name. The name of Jesus is named upon everything that concerns me; including my family, job, health and finances. PASTOR CHRIS SATURDAY, FEBUARY 13TH DECREE A THING! Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee… (Job 22:28) To decree a thing means to authoritatively order or instruct with the force of law. Revelation 1:6 lets us know that God has made us kings and priests. And one of the characteristics peculiar to kings is the power to decree. As God’s king-priests, we have being put into office to decree anything we want to see established in our lives and in the lives of men, for “where the word of a king is, there is power…”( Ecclesiastes 8:4). The church wields so much power that many Christians don’t even know about. This explains the reason many act and live less their calling- living as mere men! As Christians, we’ve being called into the life of the supernatural; we have more than enough power to do whatever we want to do. All we need is to have enough knowledge of who we are and what we have in Christ, and come bold in the Lord. 1st peter 2:9 says, “but ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people…” It’s your responsibility to bring to pass whatever you want to see happen in your life; to decree what you want and have them established unto you. You’ve being vested with enough power and authority to influence the world with! Prayer Dear Father, I thank you for making me a king-priest unto you! I declare that the excellence, beauty and perfections of divinity are manifested through me today, as I freely enjoy the benefits of my inheritance in Christ! God’s will is established in my life, and I pray the same for everyone around me, in Jesus name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Mark 11:23; Matthew 18: 19 1 Like |

PASTOR CHRIS SUNDAY 14TH , FEBRUARY THE INFALLIBLE WORD So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. ( Isaiah 55:11) These words are the sovereign declarations of Deity, and they give us a clear picture of the infallibility and immutability of God’s word. God’s word never fails! His word is perfect, dependable and reliable! For example, when God told Abraham He had made him the father of many nations, it didn’t seem possible to the natural mind for that word to come to pass. Abraham and his wife Sarah were already advanced in age. The bible says Sarah’s womb was dead- non functional, and so was Abraham’s body; yet that didn’t change or alter God’s word concerning them. Abraham had faith in the infallible word of God; he made an unqualified committal of hiself to the Lord, knowing that God’s word never fails:” And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God” (Romans 4:19-20). Abraham’s faith in the infallibility of God’s word was what earned him the titles ‘father of faith’ and ‘friend of God (james 2:23). God’s word never returns to Him void, so demonstrate faith in His word by acting on it.Whenever God speaks concerning you, it doesn’t matter what the senses project, what matters is His word. His word cannot fail. CONFESSION The word of God,which is the source of my life, is living and active in me today! I experience the transforming power of the word in my finances, health, family and everything that concerns me; my life is upgraded today by the power of God’s word. PASTOR ANITA Monday, February 15th INTRECEDE FOR THE BRETHEREN Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: (1 Sam 12:23) (KJV). In acts 12, the disciples of Jesus found themselves in predicament: Herod had seized James and killed him. When he discovered that this pleased the Jews, he went further and apprehended peter. The church had by this time realized that if they don’t intercede or peter, he would suffer the same fact as James. Consequently, the bible says’’ …prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto GOD for him (peter).’’ Shortly after the heartfelt and continued intercessory prayers offered by GOD’s people on peter’s behalf, the Bible record that he was rescued from the prison by an angel of the Lord. Thank GOD they had learnt their lesson with happened to James and engaged in intercession for peter; otherwise, peter could also have killed. It’s important that we intercede for our fellow brother and sisters. But sadly, when some believer come together, all they talk about is how bad thing have gone and all the evil happening in the world. They shut their eye to the problem other believers are facing. Every time you have an opportunity to be with another believer, don’t spend all the time on trivial or irrelevant discussion; take some time to join your hands together in intercession for brethren in the church. Don’t be lazy in prayer for other believers around the world and intercede for men everywhere. Be actively involved in this; and the good thing you make happen for others, GOD will make you happen for you. PRAYER Dear father, thank you for making the soul of men all over the world beautiful to me. I thank you for stirring in me the spirit of intercession, and today I make power available for salvation, healing, restoration and protection for my brothers and sisters in Christ, all over the world, in Jesus’ Name Amen. PASTOR CHRIS TUESDAY, FEBUARY 16TH YOU CAN INFLUENCE ANYTHING WITH YOUR WORDS! We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe , and therefore speak(2 Corinthians 4:13). During His early ministry, the Lord Jesus displayed absolute mastery over the circumstances of life, including the forces of nature. On a particular occasion, He was hungry and walked to a fig tree, hoping to find some fruit to eat. But the tree was fruitless, as it was not yet the season for figs. The bible records that Jesus spoke to the fig tree and said, “…no man eat fruit of thee hereafter forever. And His disciples hard it (mark 11:14). The master talked to a tree; He spoke out for so loud, His disciples’ heard Him! The next day, peter, recalling what had happened the previous day, called the master’s attention to the fig tree, saying, “Master, behold the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away” (mark 11:21). From his response, Jesus made us understand that we can talk to anything- we can influence anything, and effect any changes with our words: “for verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass;he shall have whatsoever he saith( mark 11:23) Here Jesus wasn’t talking figuratively as many people assume. Remember that in the previous verse, He had talked to a tree! He was showing us the power and efficacy of our words, and He proved it on numerous occasions. Jesus spoke to the winds and the waves, to fish in the water, to dead bodies, etc, and they all heard and obeyed Him. You too have been imbued with the same ability to effect changes with the word of God in your mouth, for “as He is, (Jesus), so are we in this world” (1 john4:17). Your faith filled words determine the quality of life that you live! It doesn’t matter the situation or circumstance in which you’ve found yourself, you can effect changes with your faith filled words! PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for teaching me your word which framed, amended and restored the chaotic conditions of this earth in the beginning. I release faith filled words concerning everything that concerns me without wavering or doubting, and I see them manifest in the physical realm in Jesus mighty name. Amen. PASTOR CHRIS Wednesday, February 17th THE ESSENCE OF TRUE WORSHIP Now there were in the church at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; …as they ministered to the lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said … (Acts 13:1-2). It’s vital to learn how to minister to the lord and more importantly, know when to pray the prayer of worship. The opening scripture says’’…as they ministered to the lord and fasted, the Holy Ghost said…’’; letting us know that the power of GOD’s spirit is manifested as we minister to the Lord, in an atmosphere of true worship. To minister to Lord is to worship according to his work; to make confessions to His name. Confessions comes from the Greek word ′Homologia′ which means speaking the same thing in consent or consonance with GOD; to say what GOD has said in agreement with him. So in ministering to the Lord you make your confessions to GOD based on the word; you say beautiful things about Him and revere His awesome majesty in line with the revelation of his personality in the word. Ministering to the Lord is the essence of worship; it’s a very important aspect of our Christian service. Note that the spirit only spoke after the people had ′ministered to the lord′. Pastor Anita Live From Your Spirit Thursday, February 18th We look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Cor 4:18 (KJV) Man is a spirit; he has a soul and lives’ in a body. 2 Cor 4:16 (KJV) for which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.’’ The spirit and the soul comprise the inward man. With the outward man, you make contact with the physical world. Your body, that’man’ that you clothe is not you; it is your domicile-the house where the’ real you’’ –your spirit lives. This is why your must give premium attention to the development of your spirit though the word of GOD. God wants you to live from your spirit. The way to do this is to fix your gaze on the Word of God, refusing to be moved by the dictates of your physical senses. For example, the doctor might have said you’d be unable to have a child due to complications in your body, but remember that your body is not you! The real you is the recreated human spirit, which is fashioned after the image of Christ. Thus, there’s no sickness, weakness, limitation, imperfection, or barrenness of any kind in your spirit. Therefore all you need to do is keep your focus on Deuteronomy 7: 14 that says “thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.” know that you’re a spirit being, so refuse to dwell on the pain or growth you feel in your physical body. Don’t rate yourself on how much you have in your pocket or in your bank account. See yourself from the perspective of God’s word and relate from that realm. Live from inside out, from your spirit! CONFESSION Dear Father, I thank you for teaching me today how to control the circumstances of my existence from within my spirit! I rejoice to know that by keeping my focus on your word, and living from my spirit I’ll keep experiencing victory, triumph and success in my endeavors, in Jesus name. Amen. Pastor Chris Pray Without Distractions Friday, February 19th Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees (1Kings 18:42 (KJV) One of the reason some Christians don’t experience the manifestation of God’s glory in their lives as they should is that they often treat their time of fellowship with the Lord casually. Their minds being full of distractions are unable to concentrate and hear what God has to say! In James 5:16, the bible says”The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man make tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]’’ (James 5:16AMP). The prayer is earnest and heartfelt, devoid of external influences or distractions. Prayer isn’t a time of religious monologue, where you just talk and talk, until your mind wander away. It’s a time of fellowship where your spirit mingles with the Holy Spirit; so much that your very being sync with his laid out plan for your life. At a particular time, the prophet Isaiah spoke God’s mind to King Hezekiah that he should put his house in order because he was going to die. This prophecy of course came to the king with a note of finality, but the bible says King Hezekiah ’’ …turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD…’’ (2 kings 20:2). Turning his face to the wall signifies shutting out all distractions because he wanted to alter the course of events. If you want to see the demonstration of the power of the spirit in your life, you’ve got to learn to shut yourself away from the world-away from all distraction and set your mind on the Lord in followership. Focus all your strength and energies on the Lord in prayer. This kind of prayer is what makes tremendous power available. Prayer I thank you dear father, for teaching me your word on the essence of focusing all my energies on you in fellowship, so as to be fully in sync with your spirit ,knowing and walking in your perfect will for my life, in Jesus’ Name. PASTOR CHRIS SATURDAY, FEBUARY 20TH CHOOSE THE FAITH WAY Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful (psalm 1:1). One time, Moses sent out twelve men to spy out the land of Canaan. When they returned, ten of them gave an evil report- a negative and faithless report, while only two; Joshua and Caleb stood out and spoke in faith. While those who spoke the negative, faithless report suffered for their unbelief, God rewarded Caleb and Joshua for choosing the faith way. As a Christian you were born into a family of faith, a family made up of patriarchs like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David, who had the faith mentality. They had a different way of thinking; they reasoned from the perspective of God’s word only. These are the ones whose example we are to follow; we are to emulate their faith; Christians who still think and talk negatively probably grew up among negative thinkers and talkers. Just like the bible says, if you walk with the wise you will become wise, they have also grown to imbibe the negative mentality. This shows that negativism is acquired, and we enquire it from our environment and from those we relate with on daily basis. So, relate only with those you know will inspire your faith. I urge you today to choose the faith way! Learn to live by faith in God’s word every day. Let your outlook on life be from the point of faith; be positive and possibility conscious. Surround yourself with the right inspiration; saturate your environment with God’s word, so that when people come to you, whether young or old, they will be influenced to talk and think positively like you. PRAYER Dear father, I thank you for guiding and leading me in the faith way, and helping build my faith through your word! Thank you for the opportunity I have to fellowship with like –minded believers who can inspire me in the gospel, and provoke me to good works, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. PASTOR ANITA SUNDAY, FEBUARY 21ST FAITH: A DEMOSTRATION OF GOD’S WORD Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (hebrews11:1). The scripture above is the best definition of faith you can get. God has to define it for us because he knew we weren’t going to get a better definition in the world. A substance is a real physical matter that you can touch or relate with. If faith is the substance of your hope, it means faith is the real thing; it’s the tangible expression of your hope. The bible tells us of Abraham, who ’’being not weak in faith, considered not his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God’’ (Romans 4:19-20). Abraham tangibly expressed his hope by giving praise to God; he didn’t allow his physical condition to discourage him. If there’s no substance or tangible expression to your hope, then their is no faith. Faith is the evidence-the title deed of things not seen. A title deed is a legal document proving your right to a property; it maybe a piece of land or a house. This document authenticates your claim to the property. The same way, the word of God is enough to prove that you have what God has given to you. It doesn’t matter if others don’t believe you because they can’t see it; you already have the evidence and that’s what matters. Confession My faith is strong and operative, I refuse to cower in fear or timidity when faced with challenges or adverse situations, but I rise to the occasion, knowing that I am what God says I am and I have what he says I have and can do what he says I can do! Pastor Chris, PRESENT YOUR MEMBER TO GOD MONDAY, February 22ND Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yields ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. (Romans 6:12-13) (KJV). The scripture above is very instructive. To fully realize its import you’d have to carefully examine the construction. Imagine a father telling his young son,’’ don’t let that fellow in the house,’’ if the son is stronger than the fellow, he’ will gladly obey his father instruction. But if the intruder is stronger or more powerful, the son will wonder at his father instruction. God would be remiss to ask us to do something He knew we couldn’t do. By saying to us, ’’don’t let sin reign in your mortal body,’’ He means that we have the power to stop sin from coming in to reign in our bodies. So, how do we stop sin in its tracks? The answer is in the latter portion of our opening scripture and it says,’’ Neither yields ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.’’ The King James Bible uses the word ’’ yield’’ in this verse, but in several other bible translations, the word used is ’’present’’ from the Greek, ’’paristemi’’ which means ’’to present’’, like when you present document to be perused. It’s not just yielding as in a reflex submission, but a presentation which you choose to make. Isn’t this wonderful? This means you no longer have to struggle with sin and its effects if you’re born again. You can choose not present your body to sin, just as you can choose not to present it to cancer, HIV, stroke or diabetes. You don’t have to struggle with that terrible habit any longer; you can choose not to present your body to it. God has given you the ability. Confession Sin has no dominion over me; I refuse to give it any right of place in my body. I willingly yield my body to God and declare that all my members are instruments of righteousness unto Him. [center]Further study Romans 6:14-16; Romans 6:19 |

PASTOR CHRIS TUESDAY 23RD FEBUARY SACRIFICE OF PRAISE! By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God by continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name (Hebrews 13:15) The sacrifices of praise are the confessions, declarations, psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs of glory, grace and goodness of God that we make unto Him. It’s different from saying, “I praise you Lord, I just thank you for everything”…praise is more than that. Praising God means giving thanks to His Name for definite reasons. In the Old Testament, the priests offered specific offerings to God; they offered sacrifices of burnt offerings and burnt incense, according to the specifications of the law. We also in the New Testaments are admonished to offer sacrifices of praise to God and Hebrews 13:15 clearly describes the Content of the sacrifice we’ve been called to offer: “By him(Jesus Christ) there-Fore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our Lips giving thanks to his name.’’ As you worship the Lord and adore Him, making confessions to His Name, you’re offering unto Him the sacrifice of praise. As you offer quality praise and Present your body to Him as a living sacrifice, you send forth incense unto Him, and His presence rubs-off on you and overshadows you. Prayer Dear father, thank you for your word, the entrance of which has given me light and understanding today, concerning true worship! Thus, from the depths of my heart this day, I worship you for your goodness and grace towards me, I thank you for making me an heir of the eternal salvation you wrought through Christ Jesus. Amen. The Glory Within – Wednesday February 24 Pastor Anita The Glory Within Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee (Isaiah 60:1). When the Bible says “The glory of the Lord is risen upon you,” it refers to the glory within! It’s a spiritual terminology that shows that God has bestowed His grace upon your life. It’s the outward manifestation of an indwelling divine influence. God has called you to the life of glory, which is beyond the earthly realm. That life is the manifestation of His glory: the perfections, beauty and excellence of divinity resident in your spirit! This therefore means that the glory of God is in your spirit, not on your head. Jesus walked and lived in the glory of God everyday while He walked the earth. The people living in His day saw God’s grace mightily at work in Him and testified to it: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). God wants you to shine in the beauty and excellence of His grace which He has bestowed on your life. He wants you to excel in your job, academics, projects, relationships and all that you do, until the world begins to wonder at you. The way to make this happen is to meditate continually on God’s Word, for the glory is in the Word. Before long, that glory will rise from your spirit and be evident in your life; through your words, deeds and ideas. Confession My life is an expression of the glory of God within my spirit. Today, I am moving form glory to glory and excelling in all that I do. Many are coming to the knowledge of Jesus Christ through the radiance of God’s beauty upon my life. Hallelujah! Pastor Chris Thursday February 25, 2010 Don’t Wait For The Spectacular Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed (John 20:29). A certain man hated everything about Jesus. His wife was a Christian but he wouldn’t let her go to church. One day, his wife went for a crusade close by, without telling him. He got furious and stormed the venue, combing through the crowd in search of his wife. Suddenly, a loud cry rent the air and everyone turned to see what had happened. They saw the man shouting, “He’s real! He’s real!” Apparently, Jesus had appeared to him and let him know his sins were forgiven. It took an appearance of Jesus to make the man believe, but he didn’t have to wait to experience something that spectacular for him to believe. It’s like the story of Thomas who didn’t believe the Lord had risen from the dead until He appeared to him and said, “Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at my hands! Put your hand into my side. Stop doubting and faith!” Thomas replied, “You are my Lord and my God!” Jesus said, “Thomas, do you have faith because you have seen me? The people who have faith in me without seeing me are the ones who are really blessed! (John 20:26-29 CEV). You don’t have to wait to experience the spectacular before you believe God loves you and wants to fill your life with goodness. The only evidence you need is His Word. Remember, the Bible says, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Don’t wait to have your pocket or bank account filled with a lot of money before you declare your prosperity in Christ! Don’t wait for the symptoms to disappear before you proclaim your healing! Declare that you have life, health, peace and joy NOW, and your faith will produce results! Confession I’m a new creature in Christ Jesus, awakened to the fatherhood of God. All things are mine because I’m Abraham’s seed. I look through the eyes of faith and see my glorious inheritance in Christ! Further Study Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. |

Pastor Chris Friday February 26, 2010 You Were Bought With A Price! For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s (1 Corinthians 6:20). Some people, when trying to explain the concept of salvation, use the illustration of a drowning man who was rescued by pulling him out to safety with a lifeline. That’s a misrepresentation of the salvation Jesus brought. A better illustration would be that the man had been condemned to death by drowning for his wrong. He’d been gagged, bound hand-and-foot, and about to be thrown into the raging sea. Then Jesus comes and says, “Don’t kill him; I’ll take his place and drown in his stead.” Jesus didn’t just throw him a lifeline, or send in divers, or swim the treacherous waters to drag him out to safety. No, He took his place of condemnation and drowned (died) in his stead! That’s the right perspective of the salvation Christ purchased for us with His own blood. So when you talk about Jesus saving you, you’re not taking about someone who delivered you from trouble. No, He saved you by giving His life for you. The salvation we have in Christ is serious business; Jesus paid a huge price by giving Himself in our place so we could go free. You therefore can't afford to live life the way you choose anymore, for a price has been paid; you’ve been bought. Now you belong to Him and not yourself. Many years ago, a Chinese brother was traveling on the same train with three gentlemen who wanted to play a game. They required a fourth person to play with them, so they asked him to join in. “I’m sorry,” he replied. “I didn’t come with my hands.” The men stared at him in astonishment because to them, he seemed complete, yet, he said he didn’t come with his hands. “What about these ones?” they asked. Then he replied, “They’re not mine; they belong to Jesus because He bought me with a price. Now I only use them for the things He wants done.” The Bible says you’re not your own (1 Corinthians 6:19). If you’re born again, you’ve been bought with a price and now you ought to live for the Lord, and follow His choices for you. Prayer Dear Father, I thank you for the complete salvation I have in Christ Jesus; thank you for sending Him to take my place. I recognize today that I’m no longer my own; I belong to Christ. Thus, I know my life is blessed and my future is guaranteed, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. @ mabell What you're doing is simply bearing too much of a risk for something that some of us would not even accept when its being given away for free because we don't want to even bother with disposing of it without removing it from the packet. If you consider yourself a christian trying to help people, you should know that you are actually violating a number of laws most especially the copyright law. You should read the small print in the first few pages of the book you are copying and pasting here on a public forum. I should also point out to you that it is in some ways analogous to stealing which would make you end up in hell for your attempted good deed. |
