Quakertellicus1:Some of you politicise everything. Even when things go bad you still have something to say as excuse. When Buhari was sworn in & power supply suddenly improved, you people gave him credit for this & went on to say it was his body language. When things also don't work out irrespective of the reasons as you are trying to explain, the government of the day has to take responsibility & profer solutions. The order of the day now is that when things work out, the government takes the praise but when things don't work they either blame the previous government or some other factors. If those appointed into positions do not have the relevant capacity to turn things around remove them & bring in the competent hands irrespective of the godfathers whose interest they are representing. Nigeria's interest should be bigger than their personal interest. There has to be a way out of this situation & the government alone may not have all the ideas to turn things around. Let them reach out if need be so that their case will not be like that of the sick doctor who was ashamed to consult his colleague and died in the process. I however commend this government for not encouraging retrenc hment of staff in the face of the economic problems. |

GEJPosterity:Hmm, the force is strong with this one. Only way to a strong naira is to become a manufacturing society . Of course, that means some years of hardship while we sort out power, transport and markets for our products, but it would be worth it Some of you people are too politically political. |

ClintonDal:Before we part....I have a new term for you. Dutch disease. Google it. And if you read my comment properly, you would see that I am asking the government to do something, not praising them. Or defending them. Good evening. |

eiBADAn:Why do you keep ranting about Zimbabwe dollar? A currency that has been rested for over three years. The Zimbabwe dollar no longer exists. |

Quakertellicus1:Dutch disease or Caribbean disease, that's just a concept for you to justify the uselessness of this administration. They promised sunshine and rainbows but they've only been able to deliver armageddon. Next week you'd prolly look for another disease to cling on. Merci beaucoup! |

ClintonDal:Ah well..... You think I am justifying the current economic crisis. I am not. I am saying that Nigeria's economy has been built on a false platform of high revenues from oil and other resoruces. When the price falls, the revenue falls. Even if GEJ won....we would still be in this state. I stated what we had to do. Stop relying on oil...and go manufacture. But since you are too blind to see that....I can't help you. You Nigerians should give up your bitterness and hate....and yes, I include both zombies and wailers. Because it does not help at all. |

Quakertellicus1:I don't care if GEJ won or lost, that's in the past. What I am about now is for the people in charge now to deliver on their promises that made 80% of Nigerians boot out the last admin. This same statement of Nigeria reducing it's dependency on oil and go manufacture has been here since and also captured in the Confab report. So don't act as if these problems magically arose as soon as Buhari took charge. They have been there, sincerely speaking our nation has no direction whatsoever and should be the perfect example of a scalar quantity. Maybe you're the one who is blind to the fact that this ship called Nigeria is sinking. And to correct you, I've got no hate or either an ounce of bitterness for anyone or group. That I speak against something doesn't mean hate or bitterness, I believe that simple concept is understandable. That's why we have pessimism and optimism, no one can be the same. We all have different views. You shouldn't insult someone who doesn't share same views as you do. |

@eiBADAn Keep comparing yourself to a dead man if it makes you feel beter while Nigerian economy keeps going south. Zimbabwean currency is dead and cannot be a basis for any comparism. Btw, they have a better economy . The fact is so glaring that Nigera is cursed with bad and very selfish leaders, PMB, GEJ, Senators, Governors and what have you. Majority of our current leaders know zilch about leadership and how to grow a nation. What are the developmental plans for this country? Does the current Government have any? Drastic steps need to be taken if Nigeria is to survive. A lot of states need to be merged to save scarce resources. Ther is so much waste of already scarce resources in the name of allocations. |

my only joy is that buhari will be very popular in the international scene when people start to ask why nigeria fell from the spot it was side by side with South africa. Bad name for buhari if you ask me... |
| Re: Naira Now Africa’s Worst Performing Currency Of 2016 by 14(m): 11:42pm On Jul 15, 2016 |
egobetatoday:South Africa has re-taken 1st spot already in Africa. Latest calculations shows that 1. South Africa, 2. Egypt, 3. Nigeria. Nigeria must just watch out not to be overtaken by algeria, the way things are going, nigeria could go to position 4 in Africa. |

The earlier we send all these old people in government to yhe village the better for us. They have wasted their lives and now they want to waste ours we should not allow it, they have nothing to loose if Nigeria fails now. Let them go. |
