The day Kemi Adeosun couldn't answer simple questions of how much we have in forex account and how much stolen funds have been recovered kept me wondering in another direction, either she is just a figure head or incompetent. I saw this news this morning and shook my head for this country. I seriously doubt that inflation is 17 percent, it is probably around 20 - 30 percent.

We are in recession and it appears that our President and his team are unaware of this and the consequences.

Our President made some mistakes or in another word, hard choices. I believe they did not take into consideration the effect fuel subsidy removal and declining oil prices. They also did not know how bad our import dependent economy is and the extent of external reserves depletion.
