Not trying to scare you o but I won't advice ear wash... When this thing first happened to me, we when to hospital and the nurse did ear wash, bro it's like adding petrol to a fire, it got worse... When we got to hospital the second day and saw the doctor himself, he was somehow vex that my dad ought to see the doctor instead of nurse and ear wash isn't the solution....

So I was injected, directed to buy serumol ear drop and will be going back tomorrow for another injection and on Saturday for the syringing and was asked to pay 5k for everything... No be small thing

OP, I was ill couple of weeks ago, was admitted and given quinine(a lot I guess) and since then I have been having this ringing sensation... I am alright now but the ringing sensation wouldn't just stop completely... it stopped for about a week and started again... feels I have water in ear... I yawn every now and then hoping it will clear up... the doctor said it's a side effect of quinine and would go soon (I hope so)

To others making a joke outta it... it's not so funny. Ear is for balance and this feeling can mk you very uncomfortable

Good afternoon everyone, I have an issue troubling me that I hardly sleep these past few days. For about 4 days ago, I slept and woke up with my left ear blocked, as in blocked I could hardly hear with it.

At first I took it as nothing serious, could be that water mistakenly got into it while I was showering, or could be the normal stuff that happens once in a while to which I'd have to yawn and it pops up but no! It didn't open up till the whole day went by and am getting scared already as it getting worse by the day.. I have used chloramphenicol eardrop but it's not helping matters at all.. I just bought oto-med eardrops today and hoping something good happens but still, I want to know if anyone had this issue in the past, how did u solve it

And Pls doctors and specialists in the house, help me out on this cos it's frustrating my life already. Pls pls and pls I beg u all.

The wax in your ear is too thick and dry that is why. apply the ear drop diligently and chew gum on the left side of your jaw. it will fall out by itself in a few days and you would be back to normal. It happened to me on multiple occasion when i was younger because i hated using cotton buds to clean my ears..sometime i cudnt hear for as long as three weeks in the affected ear.

You are not going deaf.

op you just had wax compacted on your eardrum. use cerumol eardrop to soften it..then go to ent specialist to flush it out..I don experience am plenty times.
