President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated.Mr. Nsima Ekere and Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, as the Managing Director and the Chairman respectively of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)..

This is contained in a letter sent to Senate President Bukola Saraki on Wednesday by the President.

Mrs Ibim Semenitari is currently acting as MD of the commission.

A Presidency source told THISDAY that the letter may be read on the floor of the Senate on Thursday.

Does Buhari have advisers? Do they go through the laws before taking actions?

What's the legal implication of selecting MD from cross river? From what I read in the NDDC act, i don't think cross river produces the most oil after akwaibom.

Nsima Ekere is a correct dude. A former Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom. The guy is also sharp and intelligent.

When an appointment is made from your region, you disown them simply because they don't share your views. When such appointment is taken to other regions, you cry marginalization.
