And on the other hand why haven't they confirmed, truth is this case has been neither here nor there. If Fayose has made allegations with his proofs, then it lies on the other parties especially zenith bank to accept or deny.

Go to the Nigerian Stock Exchange Website....

put your mouse over 'Issuers'...then on the fourth line...you will see 'Corporate Disclosures'...

This contains the official press statements and other documents from all the companies on the Stock Exchange.... you will see this same statement by zenith there...

Please not that this NSE platform is only accessible by two persons for a company....hence only two pple from zenith can upload on that site....

That's not to say Zenith doesn't have something to hide though...you don't release statements after a whole one month!

I am baffled to read " efcc Don enter am".
My take is who is really battling to save a damaged reputation or image- the bank, efcc or Fayose?

Or is there something I don't understand about this case? Did efcc issue the publication or the OP is just being mischievous.

If anyone has anything to worry about from narrative of this matter since it came to the public it should be Fayose and the zenith bank who have claims and counter claims about the matter and not efcc that is set to drag the actors in the matter in the mud to score a point in their anti corruption campaign.

This is not an efcc under GEJ, it's under magu and pmb and won't stoop so low to issue a statement on behalf of the bank at they are being careful, that not professional snitching, the one saying its done in some quarters is simply trying to paint the efcc bad.

The question now is, how did this letter get to the NSE website if Zenith Bank didnt send it?

let me unravel the drama here.
zenith bank has Fayose as one of their biggest customer and did sponsor his campaign and election.
but must deny this fact for ethical reasons .
Now u will remember them begging Fayose sometimes ago, mostly because of this denial letter they will have to release they need to be on the same page with him
so all this drama is actually an agreement between Fayose and zenith Bank, both semi fake letter , the fault finding by Fayose team and the silence by zenith bank.

I believe that letter was from Zenith and if EFCC were to Forge the letter which is almost impossible, they would have done that perfectly well to avoid those petty differences being noted, does fayose think only him banks with zenith or receives letter from zenith?
He better get serious with governance since he's still under immunity.

Sounds like fayose is running false flag games with the intent of discrediting any investigation. Also, it seems he has been secretly photographing and recording his meetings with zenith and other players.

Zenith have no idea of the full extent their exposure and so they are keeping mum. They have also seen the they are dealing with a desperate mad dog who will have no qualms in splicing pictures to create a bizarre story for a gullible public.
