I did know, I wouldnt have applied to them.

I have been rejected. I was told my document was not complete. I asked the admission office which doc was missing, I was told that I did not apply online. That shocked me, because I applied on csc website, applied on xiamen univ website before I send all the paper documents to them. I feel very disappointed.

Can you please recommend three universities where I can do PhD in History as a Nigerian with Chinese Govt Scholarship and I will be accepted? Thanks

Most China Universities don't accept Nigerians,about 10 of them do anyways.
I believe we should create a page on FaceBook solely for the Purpose of Chinese Government Scholarships, Taiwan Scholarships, Thailand Scholarships and India Scholarships.
Unfortunately I started doing my research on all these scholarships late but now I am more knowledgeable (although I presently don't have interest),I believe being informed will go a long way.
Also know that those applying for PHD are preferred more than other applicants applying for Bsc and MSC.

Yes. Bank statement, sponsorship letter, weac result,college certificate, Visa application form, passport, international passport. I think that's all. I booked and after a week plus went for interview and after another week got passport with visa on. Hangzhou Normal University

At the chinese embassy all i submitted was my JW201, admission notice, masters certificate, Bachelors, Intl passport and medical fitness form only. I wasn't asked for Statement of account or guarantor. And was booked for interview in a week time after applying.

I hope you have not bought Guangzou ticket o, please do your research well and ask lots of questions Beijing is more closer to Tianjin than Guangzou.

How long earlier is one allowed to travel to China before classes starts?

Yes gotten admission and visa already, hope to travel by September.
