Woke up yesterday morning to the news that the notorious rapist "Baddo" was lynched. I made some quick internet research into his violent history and i realized that his same guy was once arrested by the police for rape and murder. Why did they release him? He was a major threat to women and children yet he was released. I strongly feel someone in the police force should answer for this. His release ushered in the violent death of more women and children. Its just so annoying that we live in an utterly lawless society. Anyone can get away with anything in Nigeria.  1 Like |

Jazzlite: I really want to believe that he was brutally lynched yesterday. I must add that its our duty as men to Fiercely defend the women and children of this country. Rape should be condemned and abhorred by all. Even if a woman is buck naked and drunk, it is not a reason to rape her. As we can see, badoo did not rape scantily dressed women. He raped responsible and hard working women and even murdered them. I don't want to talk about the children he raped cos that one breaks my heart. If this hooligan is really guilty of the crimes he's alleged to have committed then I fully support jungle justice given to him. The police are friends of only criminals and I have proof but that's a story for another day. Ps; is baddo an Ijaw militant ? |

When I heard they had released him I worried for women even around my area. Based on his style "Badoo" is a Serial Rapist. His type is called a Prowler/Predator. He scans about and checks out his victims before attacking. He is operating in his comfort zone. He has established an area and an approach that allows him easy access to his victims and easy escape if need be.I also heard he robs oil on his body so he can easily slip away when grabbed. I guess he tracks the activities in the house of his next victim probably watching from the street or hidden corners or the bush or he gets his information from other accomplices. He trades on fear by being brutal for 3 main reasons. He enjoys the violence, it makes his victims comply/neutralized and finally, it sends out a very strong message to his next unfortunate victim not to mess with him when the time comes. At a time I was concerned that he might move from Ikorodu to another area. I had already started warning all the women I know to be careful though my area is far off.  Rape no be better thing abeg. Because I heard he was released. I did not feel he would still remain in same axis in Ikorodu. If caught he should be asked if he worked alone.Please is he is caught ask him if he did these Heinous crimes alone. Also he needs to be questioned on how he got released from police custody. What i am trying to say is that despite the fact he is dead, the consequences of his actions still lingers. He was aided by the policemen that released him back into the society. Those policemen and the oba or whatever all deserve to be questioned. They have to explain their role. Almajiri1: I read that most of the victims had their men of the houses away. I don't think he attacks victims when the men are at home. That is the scary part of it. You leave your female family members and travel or go to work and you have to add "badoo" to the list of your daily worries in Nigeria. The thing tire person. 2 Likes |

onatisi: What I read was that he was caught and was to be lynched then somehow was taken to the Oba. The Oba then handed him over to the Police. When matter enter police hands, you know na, the highest bidder wins. They themselves are rapists. The Police men. There victims walk scarred for life and scared to talk. I usually use the example of police raiding girls of the night in PH. You will think they are arresting these girls for prostitution. Instead they arrest these girls and take them to rape them till morning without protection, before releasing them. So when you see prostitutes running from Police in PH it is not because they are afraid of being arrested. They are actually afraid of being ganged raped, TDB ,without protection, increasing their risk of contacting STIs from "Our Friends" as a matter of fact. |
