Good evening sir. I just want your opinion on two brands of generators. Elemax and thermocool, which is better.? I plan to buy either of these 2, with 1KVA Power output. That is the TEC Junior thermocool, and the ELEMAX SH1900DX Gasoline Generator 1KVA.
Please which of these 2 will last longer? I own a blender, medium sized fridge, a TV and fan. Which will power these appliances much better

I have a 15kva diesel generator that recently sputters, stalls after transferring load to it after it has warmed up. Somtimes it picks up, other times it dies after stalling. The generator displays underfrequency/undervoltage shutdown alarms. I suspected overload and tried to reduce the load (I shut off one Air Conditioner Unit) before loading the gen. However after doing this, the sputter is still there albeit greatly reduced, but it does not die anymore. I then let it run for a while before switching on the AC again. What is/could be the problem here?

My did the same but when i topped the tank and changed oil it stopped.

1KVA Generator can't all those mentioned appliances at the same time... except you wanna kill the generator..

buy the TEC product, their 1kva gen set is the best

i think that is a fuel shortage, maybe fuel is not enough on the cabrator, check the fuel tap if the fuel is supplying fuel to the cabrator, if it does the ur cabrator need servicing

sorry for the late response, just too busy in office, i do normally get tired when i get home, but i still try and make sure i reply all drop comments.

now is not rite to start ur gen or put ur gen on at first start, while ur load or applainces are connected to the gen,
when u start ur gen leave it to run like 2-3 munite, before powering ur load, now if u change the oil and top the tank and the stalling still persist, then ur valves are linking.

my brother go get 5000 （3.5kva?）. i think u can u get this 5000 on normal tec,thermocool,fake elemax,sumec product
on the rate of #100000-#150000k, but that of germany honda product of （5000）3kva is #550000-650000

if u need that germany or japan product contact me, allthough i dont sell oh, but i can direct u, or buy for u

Any generator that use AVR, does not need stabilizer, cos the automatic voltage regulator,(AVR), regulate the votage to a maximum of 220 volts,
I always dont like the small generator cos it does not use avr, and all tiger product, big all small, they normaly use capacitor, so when the engine high the voltage high, when the engine low the voltage low as well. That why they destroy appliances , that y u need stabilizer to stable the volt, on noon avr gen.

What generator should I get to power:

water pump

A computer set

4-5 Electric Iron

3 Washing machine.

3 Industial fan (OX)

1 water heater

And few energy saving bulb.


I am contemplating on getting a lister and 7.5kva fairly used alternator but there is no enough space for me to install the engine. Therefore, will I be able to get a portable diesel engine that can rotate 7.5kva alternator?

What is the cost to get engine like this?

Will that engine have the capacity/force to power 7.5kva alternator?


I prefer diesel engine than petrol. So I will want your suggestion to base on diesel engine.

Like I said I got it frm sm1 who was relocating and as toold it was used 2days before I got there. I took it home and had an electrician run wiring for me then he tried to on it and it came on but when we pugged fridge it began fluctuating and makin noise. And then he said it jus need servicing dats all. But because I've not used a big Gen before ,I wa skeptical about who to service it. The person someone suggestd to me kept delaying and so I called one around my area who came and loosened everything ,coupled it tried it then the noise became much! Infac it took longer to on! Then he went off abt what and what needs to be replaced(almost 10k)I don't have that kind of money now and the person who gav me confirmed again dat d Gen was working wch made me doubt this person whom I called. Told the guy I'll get back to him
So nw I jus want someone who knows about it well to check it and all because I need to start using it mbok,lol

buy new one bro, i think i have talk about new engine and tokunbo, i give some few spec on new and tokunbo.
i still give some reason while new is better than tokunbo in some cases.
