PDP: Fantastically Corrupt but Relatively Stable Economic
APC: Loot Recovery and Persecution but Economy Recession

Floating a new party? A fresh start? Possible?

The problem with Nigeria is CORRUPTION. Reduce this, I watch this country become greater than US. We have the resources but with CORRUPTION, we can never be great.

Buhari is not a magician but he recognized the root cause of our problems. Reduce CORRUPTION drastically, and things will automatically fall in place.

GEJ was warned about this present crisis. He was warned in January, 2015. He was warned to fight CORRUPTION and Boko Haram with sincerity but he didn't. They sat together and shared money meant to dissipate Boko Haram.

There was warning that the global price of oil will crash. There were indications. The GEJ government was warned but they did nothing. They couldn't save for raining days. Money was flying around instead of been saved. And yet these thieves can look and talk about 2019. All these thieves and their supporters will not live to see the new Nigeria that is coming soon. Ogun will finish all of them (whether in APC or PDP or anywhere else). Anyone who stole money and is now opposing the fight against our common enemy (CORRUPTION) will soon face the wrath of Ogun.

However bad the economy is right now it would be far far worse if pdp were to be in power. Our current economic woes are all like this because we failed to plan for the future 8yrs ago. We failed to build refineries with our excess crude oil. We failed to mordernize Agriculture wholistically. We encouraged laziness by rewarding those who only knew how to sweet talk and not those who were innovatively solving problems. A farmer who plants corn on one hecter of land (10 football fields) wouldproduce at maximum 3 tons of dry maize. Which was sold less than 250k back then and thats total income before all expenditure removed. Whereas i could just import toothpicks and sell it almost immediately to make 100 times more than what that farner makes. How in the world can u keep convincing that farmer to keep up with his work..knowing fully well what his peers are doing to make money. The past goverbment failed to understand this and kept rewarding those to took short cuts to create wealth. Again if u import took picks u have in return deprived lots of ppl d opportunity of gainful employment cuz the industries dat produce toothpick cant be competitive with the importers. So we go to eectricity. After all these years power wasnt sufficiently managed how then would cost ofvproduction reduce. So generally the real industrialization was never encouraged during d past govt. NAW THIS GOVT....Nigerians! Its imposible to fix all these in 3yrs let a lone 1yr ...haba the excessive rot is a product of not planning properly in d past. Dont be shallow minded by castigating or blaming the current govt over wat it has no control over. It cant change the past. So pls be patient while the future is being adressed

hello kid. A gentle reminder. 1984 and 2016 share similar newspaper headlines. Hardships and increased sufferings. I'm sure pdp caused the 1984 saga. Now run to the kids section!!!!

Is this not why Buhari has continued to silence key opposition figures with trump up charges? He knows APC days will be short-lived if PDP remains a vibrant opposition party. His ineptitude, sectionalism and dictatorial/ vindictive lifestyle will make the PDP comeback much easier. It's left for the PDP to cash in on the opportunity.
Thanks jare. Just give us just one of such trump up charges biko.

It was from that 16 years of looting you had chance for the data you currently used to comment like idiots
16 years of making Nigeria Great, $21bn Paris Club exit,
16 years of handling over Africa's Best refined Economic with over $500bn GDP
16 years of making your country best democracy, in West Africa and Example to the rest of African Leaders
16 years of uniting Nigeria, and mentoring many of the guys in this very government today,
16 years of greater mind and dreams

Same way GEJ and PDP finalized the 'destroy-Nigeria-project' after taking over from Obasanjo (more or less), was the same way Shagari and NPN destroyed and ate Nigeria to the bone after taking over from Obasanjo. Oil prices were already falling as at late 1982, and by '83, the country was already in comatose . . . there was no way the country would have welcomed a coup if it was El dorado, people were actually glad then when Buhari and co. first came in -- they expected magic then, just as it is being expected now.

Same scene, same act, almost same actors even.
