U r to send an email to student@lago.diplo.de requesting a student visa appointment.
Attach ur admission letter, the receipt confirming u have opened a blocked acct, & a copy of ur passport data page.

They'll reply u via email.

can one get refund of the blocked account money after getting a German visa, i.e if I get a USA visa and a German visa and i decide to go to america, can db send my blocked account money back?

And what was the duration ,from when you did your visa interview and when you got reply from the embassy?

I know of someone who had the same issue with Wakanow. I think, he had to change his airline at the end.

I remember a Wakanow agent also called to advise me on same issue when I booked my ticket through them. But I told her I have a student visa and it will be extended when I arrive at my destination. She then advised I arm myself with all necessary documents in my handbag all through my journey, just in case...

I had no issue at the end. No one bothered me about it.

I don't know about your school but what I did was I applied stating I need it for job employment and requested they send it to the company. I already discussed it with my friend working there that a parcel would b delivered to his department from my school. That's how I got mine as hardcopy.

Not to be misled, I would advice you contact your friends that graduated with you.

You still dey ask. I told you it'd be quicker if you can fund, get confirmation from DB and go with to interview. You may try Diamond, it's like CBN portal will open on Monday.

Just go ahead and fund. It gives you sufficient time to receive the funding confirmation before the interview which will be critical to the speedy processing of your application.

YES, from db website where account opening form is downloaded from, there is also account closing form there, eventually u change your mind, download and fill the form, take it to embassy and the rest will continue from there..

Check out DHL outlet at broad street beside Saint Nicholas hospital Lagos island- N14510 or Western house Victoria Island. You can also get at FedEx office at the Embassy it's cheaper - N11500.

If you're talking abt if it's necessary to certify it @ the embassy, Yes you must certify it. It's only going to be confidential if your school is sending it straight to the university or company. Once you have with you as a copy, it is believed anything can be manipulated. Guess one of the reasons WAEC scratch card is among the checklist for visa interview.

There's still available date for visa appointment at the consulate. I booked yesterday morning and got appointment this afternoon.
Don't give up guys.
