God bless PMB. We are now aware of all of the robbery which took place for 16 years and more. Now we know because of PMB.

Is it possible to track our missing commonwealth to the 80's? The country 's drained and looted treasury dated back to the 80's. The decay seen today in our economy came as a result of cumulative looting of many past leaders or what did the military give as excuse when civilians were kicked out of office in 1984?

I wish Buhari would just throw caution to the wind and order the military to March into the Senate and house of assembly and grab these lawmakers by their Agbada and drag them into waiting black Maria trucks.

Anyone that protests on their behalf should be shot at with teargas and whipped with koboko to test if the money they collected was worth it.

Yet their youths shout biafra as if angels will rule biafra and not their corrupt leaders who sees nothing wrong in condemming corruption sad

Lol. And BooHarry is chasing corruption everywhere, when APC (armoured personnel carrier) is corruption personified and he sleeps next to Mrs. Corruption (his wife) daily with that skinny and almost lifeless body.

Rather than govern like someone with a brain and focus on more important issues - this man did his best possible to outcompete GEJ when it comes to being an utter failure. He and his Armoured Personnel Carrier bandits just nuked everything within a year lol.

What a waste of political party and era. Posterity will judge these fvckers lol.

Check majority of the senators; they are either retired military men or connected to a military "strongman" one way or another. I'm sure you get the point.

I believe party differences are put aside in those legislative houses when it comes to looting. If not the bad blood within, the populace woild have been scammed as usual without anyone knowing what's going on. i wonder how many of these scams have been perpetrated in the past.

TheTrueSeeker:
To pass the 2016 Appropriation Bill, Nigerian lawmakers engaged in what appeared as massive fraud, allocating obscene amounts of money to themselves to purportedly execute thousands of fictitious ‘constituency projects’, documents made available to PREMIUM TIMES have shown.

The documents were sent to this newspaper as tension intensified in the House of Representatives over the unfolding budget padding scandal.
The crisis was sparked by the removal of former appropriations committee chairman, Abdulmumin Jibrin, from his post.
The Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara, announced Mr. Jibrin’s departure in a statement on the floor of the lower chamber, saying he betrayed the trust reposed in him by his colleagues.
But in a blistering response, Mr. Jibrin denied the allegations, saying it was Mr. Dogara who in fact attempted to smuggle billions into the budget.
Mr. Jibrin also lashed out at Deputy Speaker, Lasun Yusuf; House Whip, Alhassan Doguwa; and Minority Leader, Leo Ogor, accusing them of colluding with Mr. Dogara to fraudulently insert up to N40 billion in new expenses for themselves from the National Assembly budget.
After several weeks of extensive negotiation and intrigues between the executive and the National Assembly, the 2016 budget was finally passed in April and President Buhari signed it into law on May 6.

But the damning documents sent to PREMIUM TIMES on Sunday showed how lawmakers sought Speaker Dogara’s benevolence to approve various ‘projects’ for themselves in their respective constituencies.

From provision for solar-powered boreholes in Kano to an urgent need to feed police cadets in Bauchi, lawmakers inundated Mr. Jibrin with requests to pad the 2016 budget with mainly projects they had no business canvassing for.
Many lawmakers jumped on the gravy train and routed their requests for ‘constituency projects’ through Speaker Dogara, the documents showed.
One of the documents showed how a whopping N2.8 billion was earmarked for just 56 of such petty projects.
The documents also showed that Speaker Dogara arbitrarily approved amounts for the fraudulent projects without any systematic costing, indicating that the requesting lawmakers were never expected to execute the projects, but to pocket the allocations.

Jonathan Gbefwi, one of the lawmakers whose names appeared on the documents, did not answer PREMIUM TIMES’ repeated calls and SMS for comments. Three other lawmakers had their lines switched off.
Mr. Dogara has vowed to remain silent in the face of the allegations, saying he would allow the House treat them at institutional level.

How is it even possible for a member of the house of reps to insert a 500 million road rehabilitation contract into the budget without the active conivance of civil servants in the federal ministry of works. Where in the world do parliamentarians leave their primary duty of law making to be awarding road contracts.

This has been the practices since at least 1999, they have been settling whistle blowers and covering up.
Who remembers how Dimeji Bankole set bought Cars from one Lagos based dealer, office furnitures and stationaries at outrageous prices, which was exposed. Festus Keyamo fought that case till NASS imposed oath of secrecy on NASS staff and frustrated that case in court till his tenure ended and he withdrew from public life. Previously PDP had no opposition till 2013 when APC came up, they covered everything up.
This is change we are talking about, it's no longer easy for such to happen secrecy. If Buhari had not fought them over the budget the old ways would have continued. GEJ didn't have the balls to contend with NASS over budget passing.
If people call recall all through David Mark Senate leadership, they always padded the budget the president sent them and refused to sign approve until the president accepted their padding.
Things are changing its time to embarrass these Senathieves and Legislathieves. angry

I like the revelations coming out these days, when the party insisted on certain people for the various positions people shouted interference even though they may not be saints.its never a new thing in Nigeria, that's why they all jostle to be there because they know they can steal as much as they can. When Buhari refused assent people shouted not knowing what the elder man sees while seated a young man cant see from a skyscraper This ugly situations will lead us to either free ourselves from these useless people irrespective of party affiliations or be forever doomed as a nation. Before now, there was no demand for accountability, but with the coming of BUBU we have began to ask questions, that's part of change but Nigerian Youths need to speak now that we can.that where our anthem should come Arise O compatriots Youths

Yet again all region are ably represented in this budget paddling scam and reps from both religion dey there....

This again shows that our problem isn't that tribe or religion but of leadership. Poor leaders encourage corruption; corruption will kill us as a country if we fail to kill it asap.
The time is ripe; the time is now!

As soon as efcc come for them now; they'll claim persecution because of religion and tribe. By God's grace, nigeria will get it right.

That was just one look below you will see another request for 400 million to rehabilitate another road ..that brings his request total to 900 million ..Buhari needs to use this opportunity to purge the house of reps and re evaluate the role in today Nigeria ..they shouldn't be allowed to have inputs in Budget and this whole constituency fee thing should be stopped ASAP
I seconded you!

Pls, till when will this stop? Can there ever be an end to this brazen sleaze and impunity? Do we think God will come down and deliver us himself? I think very violent reaction from youths of this nation towards everybody in the political system won't be a bad idea.

I'm very worried.

Sadly whoever changed the national anthem, am guessing had a glimpse of the country's future cos what i see today are exact opposite of what the old anthem stood for.
Nigeria, we hail thee,
Our own dear native land,
Though tribe and tongue may differ,
In brotherhood we stand,
Nigerians all are proud to serve
Our sovereign Motherland.
Our flag shall be a symbol
That truth and justice reign,
In peace or battle honour'd,
And this we count as gain,
TO HAND ON TO OUR CHILDREN
A BANNER WITHOUT STAIN.
O God of all creation,
Grant this our one request,
Help us to build a nation
Where no man is oppressed,
And so with peace and plenty
Nigeria may be blessed.

and may its corrupt leaders rot in HELL
