It's obvious the family of the sick girl played a fast one on the public.. They solicited for funds on behalf of the sick girl when they were yet to contact any hospital willing to admit her in the U.S.. The email exchange between a member of the family & a "supposed"representative of Emory hospital in Atlanta isn't authentic, any idiot can come up with that.. How did they arrive at $100,000 for hospital bill?
It's just so sad that this incident ll change the mindset of folks willing to help others.
The family were looking to cash out on their daughter's predicament.. Sad

are they going to save this lady or not. ah ah. wayiz ol deez. enough talk talk. If the family want her to die they shd return people's money now, it is was not donated for them.

The video wasn't about an apology but a clarification.

1) The initial plans of the family was to take her to US for treatment, suddenly they change destination to Dubai

2) The total money realise is 85 million naire, but they claim is 30 - 32 million naire.

3) Aramide and Toyin used their platform to raise fund for Mayowa treatment, after when the money has been realised, they the family didn't want anything to do with them again.

4)The Nigerian police has taken over the case and they will release a press conference on the issue.

5)The Nigerian police will ensure that the hospital in Dubai is communicating with the hospital in Lagos

Aramide and Toyin are greedy. They started the scam rumour because they realized no part of the money was going to them for their "selflessness."

When I read comments here, I see how deep tribalism has eaten us. What're the nairaland Yorubas and igbos dragging? Wetin dem dey drag wey dem no dey let us rest?

All I see here is the love of money. Nigerians can do the unthinkable when it comes to money issue.

Sadly the most important person in this story has been relegated to the background. Can't they just push all this drama aside and focus on the ailing lady?
