I doubt he is innocent. Osus are known drug dealers in Indonesia.

This is the problem with bigots. Your kind will be the first to come bash other bigots who torment people from your tribe when they face similar issue.. Nigeria is indeed filled with bigoted mofos..

Stop going to Indonesia, and stop the drug habit. What is wrong with Igbos and the mentality of getting rich quickly and overnight?

These killings are just senseless. Our deplomatic relationship with this law-monger country is just pathetic. Our govt is so corrupt and inefficient that a country like Indonesia wouldn't even listen to our pleas.

Igbo parents should also stop putting high demands on their children. They should teach them ethics, honesty and hardwork. Igbo parents should also stop marketing their daughters for selfish gains. Unmarried Igbo girls should be able to provide for their parents and be independent. This way, their guys won't have to resort to criminal activities in order to pay dowries.

I hope one day Indonesia will need our help so badly, only then will they know the gravity of what they've done.
Need our help? Who will need the help of a corrupt country like ours? Sorry to say, our economy is so bad that even small Chad can not need our help. A large number of Nigerians are starving and dying because our leaders are corrupt. The real murderers are our corrupt leaders who ensure no employment in CBN, FIRS and other reputable institution 4 an average Nigerian youth as such are exclusive "right" of the Big politicians and their people.
Until we stop this culture of corruption, no country will ever take us serious.

Really? Who are you to say it was without fair hearing? The law is the law. You break it, you pay. This is rich coming from a Nigerian who is used to injustice talking about fair hearing. Lol. Jefferson was not dealing with Nigerians where you can bribe, cajole, threaten or blackmail your way out of justice. You call it murder, normal people call fair and equitable justice. I am against death penalty for any crime, but if it is the law, then guess what? It is the law.

Your Inferiority complex will soon be your undoing. So lndonesian laws is now superior and more transparent than yours? SMH

Reading this news keeps bringing tears to my eyes. Someone's Father and husband has been murdered without given a fair hearing. I don't think anyone should take a life he didn't create, but God knows all. TheGood Joe, keep it up but I just hope you would do this for other tribes and not condemn like some chaps here do. These are our brothers and sisters from another mother but some folks don't see it that way. Keep up the good job but remember not to be sentimental.

Ms Prettiepearlz, you sound like a nice, non prejudiced person. "Black lives matter" well tell that to those Asians. They are one of the most racist people on the planet. I had no time to respond to your response to my post on the other thread where one "tobimillar" was gloating about Titus Igwe's killing and the fact that he is Igbo. Let me make it clear to you that I neither condone nor support drug biz. I was just pissed off about the tribal tone of that guy's post. These Igbos were killed for what I consider petty crimes in a civilized country that respects human right and the rule of law. I am more angry at these my brothers for choosing to do their trades in such a country knowing fully well what the consequence would be if caught. They are adults and are fully aware of what they were doing. That's why any phony sympathy like 'tobimiller's' is annoying.
I am convinced that Jefferson is innocent. But, he still got killed. We all should condemn that and not jubilate because he happens to be an Igbo man. Drug biz, though illegal, is a mature business for very mature and brave men. They buy and sell their goods like any other business man. However, it's not worth your life. That's why I was angry at Titus Igwe et al.
The execution is totally wrong on all levels.

...and many non-Igbos rejoicing here since thought this man boarded a flight from Nigeria to Indonesia with drugs in his bags or body and got caught at the Indonesian airport, and got arrested and later got sentenced to death and shot finally....but many of them now are feeling bad because they have now realized that this man was an employer of labor, a big man, a rich man in Nigerian term.....but because one of his stupid employees helped some drug barons to hid drugs in his room, this man's life got snatched from him for a crime he never committed.

To all those rejoicing and saying its good....think about this....you don't know where life would take u to tomorrow...you may travel out of this country to study, to work, to open a company...and maybe your roommate, your colleague, your employee or friend commits a crime and you get arrested and viola, you get killed because of the crime of someone else you never know about.

To those saying the man ought to know what his employees do in the rooms he gave them, how Even your parents, your siblings don't even know what and what you keep in your room...some of you ladies hide intimate machine in your room, some of your guys hide condoms and even cigarettes in your rooms away from your parents and siblings, so if one day Police comes and finds these things in your room, so your parents and siblings deserves to be killed for what they didnt know right

Karma is watching....let's all be careful with what we say or wish others in this life.....it may be him today, tomorrow maybe you or your loved one.

RIP Jefferson

Drug dealing is not a petty crime in any civilized country.

Know the laws of the country you're traveling to.

Stop selling drugs and ruining lives. Your selfish and greedy mentality ruin lives. Do you think your drugs are used in cements?

As long as he is an Igbo aka nation builder................ He is not innocent. He is guilty as charged.
This is exactly the problem.

With this type of mindset from a Nigerian, it is easy to see why the Indonesian authorities can never think of him as innocent even if he is.

There is nothing as unjust as the death of an innocent man.

And there is no wickedness greater than making fun of it.

Okay sir, I only commented based on the write up I read. I believe in justice but what I don't believe in is the death penalty given to them. His lawyer claim he was innocent but no one knows the truth except the people involved so if found guilty I say punish them but the question is, Is death the best punishment to give to them? But sir are you trying I am not normal for feeling pity for a human being who was executed? cheesy. I am normal ooooo cheesy, I just felt pity that's all and that doesn't mean I am against the law. I believe justice should prevail. But I just feel the death penalty was too much.

I condemn drug business in all totality, but in Jefferson's case, he was innocent...and you could be a victim of such injustice tomorrow that's why we all must speak out against evil and injustice whenever it happens no matter who it happens to.

If Jefferson was caught physically with the hard drugs, then I won't be here sympathizing with him!

Any person caught in possession of hard drugs should face the judgment!

Indonesian government should change their skewed law....make it physical possession or if the substance is caught with you or in your own personal apartment, then no sympathy, but Jefferson's case is so wrong!

I am talking about fair trial to a man who was not found to be in possession of drugs but was still executed based on evidence obtained under duress.
