I am not against forming a campaign group either but why have a trademark and bring it to nairaland , most groups discuss on WhatsApp and strategize . they made others formed theirs , dividing the forum . members of groups defending one another even when they know one of their member is wrong . the AWON WEYREY group is a disease .

There was no monetary gain attached to the 2014 edition, but heck, it was Hell.

2014 edition wasn't hell at all... Most of us comported ourselves in a pleasing manner. We didn't bully nor attack one another. In fact, nobody dug into some else's privacy just to show superiority or discredit him unlike what people are fond of doing in recent time. However, it was an avenue to make more friends and I can say that some of us are still friends till date

2015 edition was the beginning of public display of lunacy and childishness

Yes that's true... Well, I'm inclined to agree with you that during Rozay's time, they frustrated the hell out of her with false accusations/allegations just to discourage her from striving towards emerging the winner. Of course, the contest was characterized by hatred, enmity and backbiting.

To the guys" edition of 2014, I would say that it was peaceful and credible as there were active moderators (Ishilove, Pasqual09 and Farano) who wouldn't allow you litter the section with irrelevant threads apart from the thread designated for campaigns and voting.

Fast forward to 2016, the moderators seems to be dormant and inactive which has turned the Romance section to a place where horror, lunacy, joblessness and hatred are shamelessly unleashed

2015 I came out of the Miss. Nairaland competition as the first runner up. I got the crown, my prize and a group of selected friends.

Real friends. They were never there for the money nor for the fame, but to support me as an individual. Though I didn't come out first, I felt like a winner because they made me feel so.

Contrary to your claims, we didn't converge for Mr/Miss. Nairaland. We never existed before Naijaboiy's victory, neither were we fighting for Tomfrench. Need I remind you that not everyone from the group supported Lanicky, e.g Kinglekan who was rooting for beautiful missgdope.......... What I am trying to say is, we don't give a flying fvck who wins, we follow our individual choices and if they are the same, all the better.

Daviy, I really do not know what ur problem with us is . You always sound pained. Pray tell why.

I will say this again, we are friends. Friends who converged to enjoy eachother's company. Friends who reason like adults, if not alike. We are not together for Mr/Miss Nairaland, we are one because we genuinely care for another. We have a life outside NL!
