Governor of Enugu state, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi receives the Honourable Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, other Members of the Federal Executive Council and their entourage at the Government House, Enugu, for the Town Hall Meeting on Federal Government Programme, Policies and Activities, which will hold this morning at Nike Lake Resort Hotel, Enugu. The event is organized by the Ministry.

The Information Minister expressed the Federal Government's gratitude to the Governor for his hospitality, adding that Enugu State has shown maturity and commitment to one Nigeria, irrespective of political differences.

Gov. Ugwuanyi thanked the Minister for the choice of Enugu as the venue of the event, saying that the state by its historic background has come a long way in the shaping of the history of Nigeria. He expressed confidence that the Town Hall Meeting would be of immense benefit to the State, South East region and Nigeria at large.

This man should not infest my state and south east region with (spirit of) lies. Please help me sound the alert, a deadly disease has just entered the southeast and is just discovered in Enugu. There is fear it is highly contagious, air borne, and may spread quickly. People are hereby directed to take preventive measures as the cure for the disease is yet unknown.
