You sound like a proper douchebag! I live in Canada, I know almost everything that goes on in the US. Nigeria has more internal security concerns than the US. How many times have you ever seen an American impersonating a soldier by using their uniform to vandalize or carry out despicable acts?

Nigeria has her own security perculiarities and we must stop comparing everything to the West. The Nigerian military authorities have warned civilians to desist from wearing military outfits for general safety. It's no longer news that some criminals choose to operate in military uniforms.

However, defaulters should be handed over to the police and not manhandled on the streets. Military brutality must stop!

You can't compare the two nations when it comes to security issues, hence I totally accept whatever punishment the guy gets. It's difficult to trace people in the absence of record keeping so giving people the kind of liberty you mentioned in your post is asking for chaos.

Maybe because most of the able bodied men in the states serve in the military, how many of una go gree serve? even NYSC field work sef, una go dey shout "difficult" but to wear the khaki dey sweet una.
