It's not possible for a Christian to marry a Muslim. I don't take those people seriously.

I live in the north and this is what happen where majority of the Christain ladies have changed their religion due to intermarriage. Though blame it on our Christian girls especially my Ibo sister bcoz of the love fo money and materials things. It's here u will see ngozi changing her name to Hadiza, even wear the hijab more than the Katsina indigent.

Yea u are right, it happens maybe because of poverty. They like our girls a lot, but they will never let u to marry theirs even to hold their female hands self is forbidden in Islam. Lie! Lie!! Lie!!! I served in Bauchi and was a witness to so many religious infractions, in Tafawa-Balewa, Ganjuwa and even Bauchi itself. No much are reported, especially if it does not escalate to religious war. A Christian man CAN NEVER be allowed to marry a muslim lady. If you have any such case, let us discuss it. Tell us about them, their family and others.

Many Christian corpers like me lived in the barracks then for fear of being accused of violating "bashiga". If the muslim youths sight you greeting a muslim lady, you are done for. At the NYSC orientation camp we were cautioned about the issue of relationship with female muslims. If I may ask, why do you have very few upstairs in muslim dominated areas in many northern cities? The Alhaji's do not want anyone living upstairs to have aerial views of their compounds as their wives and daughters are in puddah and you are here talking about peaceful co-existence. Even as a Corper, I was denied service acceptance at Neerma Hospital Bauchi because I am a Christian.

You people, especially muslim north should begin to accept the issues and challenges that your religious beliefs and practices have created for you. That way you would be in a position to find a compromise and live peacefully with others. If you continue to deny this fact, sorry the peace you seek would continue to elude you!!! Down south, the Yoruba (Lagos) muslims are more liberal. At least my former landlord is a staunch muslim and still gave me accommodation and my place was a home fellowship centre. That CANNOT happen up North.

By the way, since you are married, kindly link me up with your sisters or daughter or an educated muslim lady from Kano, Kaduna, Sokoto and I am ready to go ahead and marry her and let her practice her religion in my house. By God's grace I have the well-withal. If you cannot find one, PLEASE, STOP DECEIVING CHRISTIANS!!!

I won't force you to believe what i'm telling you. The issue of building upstairs in Hausa land is an entirely different issue and has to do with culture and not religion, you said you served in Bauchi, if they don't build upstairs there that is their choice and you should not generalize because there are uncountable number of upstairs in Kano even within the city centre in order to preserve space, if you go to Kaduna its still the same so i don't understand what you are talking about here.

On the issue of Muslim ladies marrying Christians that is a topic for another day as I'm busy right now.
