Are you treating an infection or diarrhoea.
Most these drugs inhibit the pathway of some basic metabolism.
I know that septrim blocks the folic acid metabolic pathway, you may have to find out for flagyl.

Fearless07 it is well with you. Baby alive, mother alive is the goal. Please follow doctor's instructions they know best. Keep on trying to induce naturally before then but if it ends up being CS its still ohk.
You can discuss with your husband before the baby comes that you would need his help so he would be prepared and you can also try to put as much things in place before baby comes. God will give you the best.

Good day mamas. Abeg make una help me torchlight this my matter. I went for ANC today and my doc has booked me for CS on thursday ( I will be 41weeks). I am seriously praying that I go into labour before Thursday cos I want to try for a VBAC. I can't be induced cos of a failed induction during my first which led to my first CS. I am keeping an open mind but the thing is that my mum is not too strong health wise at the moment and I have a 3year old son plus my husband to tend to and I don't have any help. I don't know what to do cos I was hoping they would let labour come on its but my doctor was saying she can't take any chances. I called my mum to let her know but she said I should hold on and not report at the hospital yet cos anything can still happen ( might fall into labour) I have been taking walks, kpekused, eaten pineapple from 37wks but still no show. Please forgive my ranting and plenty talk. I am just feeling a bit discouraged. Anyone that has been through this should please advise me. cc : zaynie , liftedhands , Fortius , tchiwinnie , soonest , all Sabi mamas. TIA

As someone has said, you aint no super woman.
Let your husband step up to the ircumstances i am sure he will be more than capable.

Look for where you can keep your son when you go into hospital! A good friend's or family preferable with children in his age group as it is likely hubby will be there with you and depending on your hospital policy they may not allow children in the wards!.

It is better to have CS and be done with it in a couple of hours than waiting for natural labour that will take however long, and you may still get to do the cs if things dont progress well. That is an unneccesary risk in my opinion. If labour starts before thursday fine of not... go wih your Dr's plan.

Arrange everything baby needs and keep where easily accessible! Wash bottles, clothes and make sure hubby knows where everything is.

Even your son, he is three, so you will be amazed as to how helpful and resposible he can be... abi you no know say "big"brother dey shack pikin!!!!

Arrange food down as well if you havent already, Get a caterer to make stews, soup and jollof rice down and pack it in the freezer. Label everything as you never know. Also get disposable plate, cups and cutlery as that will reduce the washing up


And if anyone is coming to visit you at home...mbok bring your own refreshment! And please take your rubbish home with you thank you!

Leave the housework, let it pile up, it wont kill you!

Madam Kotias003! Dabinos do not look un hygienic because Northerners sell them! I am sure u understand that the ones that are hawked have been exposed to the elements like all other things sold like that too i.e grapes, plums etc and not because 'Northerners sell them'.

If you check, you will see that there are packaged dates that are sold in the supermarkets, which have not been exposed to these elements. It's common analysis!

I tried it yesterday and it seems to me like a trailer passed btw my legs.the heaviness down there now ehn is something else. I don't think air pockets are formed that way, d urinating can cause splashes which won't be high enough to land in d vagina if standing, you know d microorganisms need a suitable media to grow which d vagina provides. But poo can cause a strong enough splash to touch d privates. Eewww I would advise even if you put tissue don't seat coz d tissue sinks and splash can still occur.

Mama one of the active ingredients in this cake seems to be lemon. Can one just take a dash of lemon in a glass of water to induce labour instead? Just thinking and asking.
