You, my friend, should always stand on the side of truth.
The truth remains that it was Nigeria that invested in searching for the oil, invested in its exploration and all what not. And by the constitution of Nigeria, the oil is Nigeria's.

Good day and do have a nice day Dear Preye!

Your constitution is fraudulent, mischievously designed to oppress and subjugate the ND region from the outset.

Do have a great day too, DropShot.

No problems.

Only 30% of our earnings in June came from crude sale.

Very soon we will depend less and less on crude oil from Niger Delta region as a nation. And the criminals will also be brought to justice one way or tge other.

It is hard to seperate emotions but this mode of hit pipeline, retreat, govt repairs, hit again, repairs, and again and again won't make any difference and deep down you know it....

The militants are not serious about liberation, the few doing this aren't doing it for communal good, it's cos they have an axe to grind and surveillance contracts... Real freedom fighters are focused, detailed, swift and most of all "unrelenting". asking for amnesty for corrupt entities and co isn't ground for legitimate struggle.. end of story.

It's Nigeria oil. However, the country is ready to move on without it if the militants are bent on fruatrating the govt. But that doesn't mean any other body, apart from the FG will ever be able to do as they wish there. It will remain Nigeria's oil till thy kingdom cometh.

All IOCs invest in conjunction with the hosting nation. In Nigeria, it's usually joint venture between the FG and the concerned IOC mostly in ratio of 60:40, 51:49, etc.

Get your facts right.

That is the sharing formula after oil has been sold. For exploration it is 100% oil companies except in places like Borno where the oil companies are not interested but forced to search for oil.

Oil was discovered in Nigeria in 1956 at Oloibiri in the Niger Delta after half a century of exploration. The discovery was made by Shell-BP, at the time the sole concessionaire

At the initial stage, Shell D’Arcy (later Shell–British Petroleum) enjoyed a complete monopoly of oil exploration for a considerable long time (1938-1955). Thereafter, Mobil Producing (Nigeria) Ltd, a subsidiary of American Socony–Mobil Oil Company, obtained license to explore for oil and began operations in Nigeria in 1955 under the name Mobil Exploration Nigeria Incorporated (which was later incorporated as Mobil Producing Nigeria on June 16, 1969

It's not exactly your resource if you actually know what oil as well as other natural resources are.
Looks like you're so much fixated on getting to control your suppose resource that you forgot to do an extensive research on what the part you're towing entails. The day you provide those forebears of yours who planted this resource or your investment claims is the day you will get the world to listen.

You don't hold a nation to ransome on account of a natural resource. Shiiit can be likened to an attempt to take my business by virtue of it being sited in your domain. Yet you wonder why you aren't attracting any investments.

As for development, talk to your governors. Maybe Delta explaining away over 320 billion naira debt with nothing to show for is a good start.
