Currently reading Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None.
I stopped at chapter 7.

Actually, this is my first time reading her book and she's female. Amazing. Prior to last week, I didn't know she's female but I've been seeing her name flying all over the pages of nairaland and how literature enthusiasts sing her praise, so I thought: "why not check this one out and experience all everybody has been talking about?", so that's the boat I found myself.


Okay, about the book...
First, I was confused by the first 2 chapters cos the loose plot hasn't been explained in clear terms I could comprehend yet, but as I progressed onwards, I realised it's a journey I can't abandon for anything.

Her use of words = good. Dialogues = quite interesting and entertaining. And oh... The nursery rhyme... Yeah, that dark obscure rhyme. You'd think it's kind of funny... A coincidence...

IMO, I think the mastermind behind the whole thing, conspiracy, whatever you call it, is something else. He's either a sadistic lunatic or a brilliant schemer. What's his name self? U.N Owen something-I-can't-remember, well, that's not important now.

For now, I don't know whether to or to not believe that the guests who were each invited to the indian Island by receiving mysterious letters actually committed the crimes they are being accused of. But there's a chance though little, that this is nothing but a way of justice coming to bear... Cleverly, slowly, bending the kneels of the accused to make the expected words come straight outta the horse's mouth after guilt, remorse and time must have taunted and tortured their mind, destroying their endurance or whatever defences there is.

This could also be simply a jigsaw conjuring... I dunno sha.

Antony Marston is dead after his short stay. Mrs Rogers followed suit and two other people are also dead - all in accordance with the rhyme. *Thinking* Lombard and Armstrong have finally resolutely decided to organise a little search- party and go on a self-discovery project. It'd sure be interesting to know their find. The outcome of it might be just what they need to liberate them from lucifer's claw, or a fall, deeper into the dark abyss. The ladies? Justice lWargrave? The General?

That's all I can pin point for now.
Lemme get back and see what's next.

Based on the topic, I think e-book, especially fictions, writing isn't an easy job. In fact, the best writers are often those who constantly hone their writing skill.
