jholam: Continue to be hopeful and pray for the best. Running a business is not as easy as most people attempt to make it looks like especially under the present economic environment. However you can also explore the option of "Volunteering" to work in a business or sector in which you have something to contribute. I assure you that volunteering is the easiest way to convince a prospective employer that you are valuable to his/her business under the current situation. You just have to either think outside the box for new ideas or think inside the box by way of re-arranging the inside of the existing box. I wish you well. |

jholam: I can relate to you in many ways! I've been unemployed for some time and it's very frustrating, depressing, and at times discouraging. Keep the faith and keep looking/applying. That's what I tell myself each day. I believe those of us not working now will soon find something. It's a struggle. One bright side is to find something you like to do. If you have a hobby or talent in something like, for example, the arts or writing etc, that will occupy your time and leave you less stressed. My artwork and writing helps me. Also keeping my dreams alive and reminding self that I will go back to doing what I love, which is teaching, motivates me to keep going. I wish you good luck and blessings! |
