thanks a lot for your comment I really appreciate ttc is a cross both parties must be ready to carry together afterall marriage is for better or worse . I understand what my wife is going through at times I see how she looks at pregnant women on d street or in d church I feel her pains and will be d last person on earth to put her under any kind of pressure. Even my mum and relatives I Don park them well for one corner. U dare not call or ask my wife any unnecessary question concerning ttc. As a guy a follow this thread religiously and want to encourage all d ladies here to b strong in d Lord. I don't know of any lady who trusted God and died barren. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE. I am confident that ladies on this thread will give birth to extraordinary children that will b a wonder to their world and a blessing to their families. This believe has kept me going since 2010. Today is a sad day, my sister inlaw had a miscarriage of twins @ 6 months. So sad burying the twins this morning. When there is life there is hope, thank God she survived though she lost blood. I pray for us all that we will conceive and carry to term in Jesus name.

Just read on the news abt the sick dude in kenja who cut off both arms of his dw..due to not having children for him.
7yrs marriage..woman 28yrs..man 34yrs or so.
Quite painful...the woman is maimed for life...y not simply divorce her if ur annoyance n disgust is too much?

In most cases, the inability to conceive may be as a result of very minor cases such as :

1. Uterine cynachae resulting from previous abortion or myomectomy (surgical removal of fibroid) or C/S.

2. Tubal blockage resulting from PID or toilet infection with virgina discharge.
If the infection is left untreated the discharge will inturn fill in the tubes and block the tubes resulting in hydrosalpings and bilateral tubal blockage where both tubes are block at both ends. In this case the sperm can' t swim through for fertilization to take place.
3. Fibroid.... in cases of fibroid , there is always a high competition between the fetus and fibroid which in most cases the fibroid will overpower the fetus and cause miscarriage.
4. Hormonal factor e.t.c
5. Fault might be from the Man due to low sperm count and other factors.
My advice as a medical radiographer is for women with TTC to always seek for medical attention first before drinking herbal concoction which may also cause severe damages to other functional parts of the body.
My prayer is that God will wipe away your tears and fill their home with children and joy..

I discover that majority was just presented with minor cases mentioned above and was diagnosed and treated through HSG examination. I can testify that so many of them after passing through this test have now become pregnants and others are happy parent already. .

thanks though I believe a lot of nigerian men are generally supportive of their wives that are ttc. I believe d pressure most times comes from the husband's parents who won't allow d wife rest all in d name of wanting to carry grand children
And as I once pointed out to my mum she has carried her own children (me and my siblings) hence me weY never even carry my own children should be more concerned than her. So parents of individuals ttc should take it easy they should not be worried or crying more than d bereaved. I'm glad a lot of spirits have been lifted up the same God who gave us loving spouses delivered us from car accidents gave us good jobs healed some of us when we went under the knife and has kept us alive till today will definitely give us our miracle babies. REMEMBER HE MAKES ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL IN HIS TIME.

Toilet infection like Candida cause blocked tubes? No female for naija especially hostel for school suppose get belle then. Do you have a link to support this claim? I understand there are specific infections that causes blockages. Chlamydia & Gonorrhea or STDs but the common toilet infection? I doubt it

There's this lab directly opposite general hospital gbagada, I think O2 or something, am thinking of doing hormonal assay there, and I would pls like to know their competency as regards such. Rant time God must surely clean our tears and burn this garment of shame off our lives. This waiting period is not easy wahali. Next tomorrow is my 8th wedding anniversary I don't even feel like celebrating it, I don't even see myself wishing my dh HWA cos I keep asking myself wat i am celebrating 8 solid yrs is no joke and am truly tired of different negative medical report, constant quarelling, having to endure lots of rubbish all cos of ttc,to even pray is like a huge task .
