Get in touch with another Nairalander, soloxam-08052937326 as he is well known here in the Agric section for seeds and other inputs. He will be of help on how to go about it as he is on ground and in a better position to guide you.

When you are done with planting, the Fulani Herdsmen will come with their cows to harvest.

Hi bro.....No offence pls.....its not red corn..it was mixed with a chemical that's why it looks like dat. The chemical either helps it grow well or make is resistant to pest or diseases. Its a nice tin to do.

@mangam are u into lease of farmland ?

I ve abt 7-8 hectare that I want to lease out. I dnt ve the time to cultivate it.

Yes the color is due to the preservatives. We ar growing the red corn for industrial use. Wait till harvest to see how it comes out

Those red one are not marketable freshly

Are the red ones marketable freshly? Wat they used for industrially?

Im asking cos i planted this same flint red thinking that the reddish colouration was as a result of the pesticide used. The imo ADP gave is to me coz i requested for corn early maturity. And intended selling it fresh cos its a pilot project n i intend going large scale next farming season.hope it is marketable freshly?

u said in ur initial post that the farm is abt 16,000sqm, dat approximately 4 to 5 acres not hecter. 1htr is 10,000sqm

While I commend your efforts, I'm surprised that you didn't get proper information on the crop you're planting. Premier Seeds doesn't sell red corn seeds.
