Still yet to figure out how there recruitment process is conducted. After aptitude test, there are a series of interviews with a final one with the MD/CEO. Afterwards you're invited for Medicals. In my own case everything up to the Medicals took place under one week. Medicals to offer has so far been very lengthy . Some of the guys I had Medicals with are at the verge of giving up as there's been no form of communication since then. What then is the essence of recruiting if at the end , the issuance of offer letters gets stalled ?

call d numbers on d invite u got.... but they actually check ur WAEC certificate to know ur actual age...dats if u don't have a valid ID

job location-ationwide (depending on your address) and branch demands.
job departments- Customer service and Cash&Teller
salary-75k
contract life span-2 years, renewable...no promise of conversion full time employment but it happens sometimes.



Gate crashing wont be allowed as the systems have already been programmed to accept only invited test takers.


TEST FORMAT -simple Gmat.
sentence correction, logical reasoning, numerical problems, passage reading and a few abstract if you are fast enough to get to the abstract pages.

After the test, if successful, you will be invited for interviews which comprises of four different interviews, all on same day or different days depending on the HR planning. The interviews are quite straight forward and the interviewers are awesome persons.

If successful at interviews, you will be invited for medicals at VI. Depending on your address and Zenith bank branch needs around you, you will then be called to pick up your appointment letter and resume at the branch they tell you to.

training is on the job.

My view- its a nice job, though the pay is low, id say its a great place to hold on to while you wait for something better in anothller industry or a promotion in the bank.


My advice.

For the test
since its computer based most times,
know your strong points.
if you are good at calculations, focus on that and skip all the long stories and passages. The questions u skipped will come back later on in the test. Try and answer as many as possible within the 1hour time frame.

Everything at the test will be tailored to help you perform at your best. sometimes snacks and drinks are served.


for the interview.

the questions are simple and direct.

Just know about zenith bank, why its the biggest bank in Nigeria, what makes it stand out (core values), why u want to work with zenith bank, what you studied and how it relates to banking. What you are bringing to zenith bank.

For those asking for past questions, am sorry, I don't have. As regards communication by HR,their lines are always open and I can assure you that they are one of the nicest people you can ever meet. Feel free to call them anytime.
To the second question, there is always vacancies. It depends on your preferred location. Zenith doesn't want you spending much on transport. So for that reason, you have to wait till there is an opening in a branch close to you. If u can't wait, you can HR to signify your interest that you can work anywhere where there is an opening. I will advise you to be patient though. Thank you.

Bro, I need clarification as regard the interview. I was scheduled for an interview after the test, but quite unfortunate, I couldn't attend the interview because I was far away from Lag. I called the HR line, was told to exercise patience, that I will be rescheduled. Since then no show, it's over a month now! have been calling them ceaselessly. Frustrated right now

Thanks though we applied for specialised roles and as such expect to work from the headquarters not the branches.

Specialized role as how? If you entering through peopleplus,its either c and t for guys or csu for ladies. Though some ladies work in c and t. Though peopleplus entrant can virtually work in any department such ic and a, cprg,marketing, ft etc

Not through peopleplus . Recruitment was conducted directly by zenith bank staff for executive trainee. Also what's the take home for executive trainee at the moment ? By specialised role I mean database development, HR, software ,forex ....

as far as I know,zenith don't recruit ET. The best that can happen is that you can be converted fast without reaching the two years. Anyway anything can happen. Maybe if your uncle is an AGM above you can be recruited as ET direct. ET salary is 135k minus upfront and leave bonus.

Executive trainee was what was stated on my offer letter and their was no mention of peopleplus anywhere during the while recruitment process . On the mortgage bank and pension forms we were asked to write zenith bank Plc under employer name. Asking bout the take-home cuz i have the gross figure but not the net figure
