Bro sorry for the delay!!! God pass CIC
First step to know how to go about tackling the reason for delay is ordering your GCMS file ....no1 here can fully give a perfect solution unless you know why the VO has delayed your app....

I ain't no guru , but I just wanted to share my own opinion on this issue of "Delay due to insufficient funds " , sometimes I feel CIC is just using it as a way to delay a lot of applicants, however I don't think it's always because of low funds that results to an app being delayed , you mentioned that your sponsor was your uncle , did you show ties with your uncle with enough documents and also I suggest you try and make payment for your tuition(1st year) for your next app so CIC will know your uncle will genuinely take responsibility for your education......my ogas dem in d hauz can further help your case

it is either you pay the school fees (since you have third party sponsor) or the money deposited in your account (only if you are self sponsor). Since you are using third party sponsor, they want you to pay your school fees first to prove you are determined and you will not be a financial burden to both government of Nigeria and Canada.

Ok bro, I will do the needful
Thanks God bless you

is the internship your current job? what's ur current job and how many months have you been into the job? Is your current job a paid job? If you have no current job, how long (in months) have you been idle? In fact, did you submit any personal assets or your parents assets?

Just thinking aloud... after someone has shown sufficient evidence of financial capacity like you suggested, do you think someone can be refused on the premise of not showing ties with an uncle or whoever?

Well I'm certain that people have had nonrelatives sponsor them and still have gone on to get visas.

you're right bro , people have gotten their TRVs using third party sponsors... But if you were a VO wouldn't you say the supposed *Uncle's first responsibility is to take care of his family before any other person(this is what i always think atimes, though i may be wrong)... I think if @bayocanny makes his tuition deposit and his uncle transfers the required 10,000CAD to his account and presents the bank statement to show the transfer, then he should have another chance at getting the TRV, GCMS is still a vital document before he refires.....

Understand the point here as they want the third party sponsor to make financial commitment in a way or other but the main way is to pay school fees as it could be from applicant account or sponsor account and also showing some financial link between applicant and sponsor that could be deposit. In fact paying school fees is what they mainly require if using third party sponsor.

Did you provide proof of employment or occupation of your uncle to show the source of funds in his account?

It's not always about proving ties or relationship with your uncle, you also need to convincingly establish your uncle's occupation and employment to show his income. You claim your uncle sells car, does he have a certificate of incorporation of company or certificate of registration of business name.

I'll go ahead and assume your uncle has other dependent aside from you. In light of recent development regarding devaluation of naira, a balance of 5m may not convince a VO considering the fact that he's not expected to spend the whole 5m on you. The VO would assume that he has other dependent. Especially since he's not your father or brother or an immediate family member.

What commitment has he made presently or previously to show that he will honour his promise to sponsor your further studies.

Responsibility aspect beckons in any case; even when your parent sponsors you. A friend in Regina was rejected when his mom sponsored at first.

The issue with having the money in your sponsor's account brings a lot of questions: credibility and capacity majorly. Number of dependants and source of income will now come under capacity.

People with all the money in their personal accounts and/or those with scholarships do not have to tell so much stories.

Lol, bro you funny o I was only delayed due to insufficient funds, my internship was suppose to end last year cus I started 2014 but I got an extention due to the positive recommendation that I got from my supervisor( I stated all these in my SOP). I submitted my soa of 200k, am not a salary earner cus I am not a staff but they always pay me stipend every month.

Thanks for the inputs bro, I really appreciate
I provided source of income of my uncle, he gave me his business registration certificate, tax clearance and others
My uncle is still single he doesn't have any dependents he's in early 30's
I think my apps was delayed due to the current exchange rate because my balance as at the time of my application cover my tuition fees for a year as well as room&board.
This country has fuked me up but I will never thrown in the towel

To everyone on this thread that contribute one way or the other ontop my apps, I say I really BIG thank you. Also, to you guys out there waiting for approval mail you will surely get it, no shaking because CIC processes are just formalities your TRV has been granted...good news to PGD&PGC applicants in the house, this month will be your breakthrough because I knew of three people here in my area whose application was approved today, one applied in April while the other one applied in may respectively.
Pls cheer up, do not get worried cus your passport has been stamped. I promise not to relent on my apps I will try as much as possible to reapply and land my TRV by the grace of God.
