I wasted my vote.....seriously this is the worst govt i have ever seen....why is it that when we are crying of one bad govt, the next one will be worst?,i heard it in the news, even at that rate for student it is not available,so all this high exchange rate is artificial, delibrately done by this govt for us not to be able to improve on ourselves, they have destroyed the education in Nigeria, all their children are over there, them dey lie.....all their appointments in govt are all old pple, which way now for this country?

To the best of my knowledge, I believe there have connection which you must emphasis in your SOP. Just rethink about it as it will xray the goals which will be focused on agricultural production and the country's utilization and how it has contributed to the Nigerian economy while applying some economic theories which will enhance the growth /wealth of nations I.e taking Nigeria as a case study before independence, Agriculture contributed most of her GDP and there was food security and increased productivity. Then you relate the current situation which has made citizens to invest much in Agriculture. Recently Anambra state exported Vegetables to Europe so as to earn foreign exchange which contributes in the economic development of Anambra and Nigeria. You can even show them the progression and regression table so as to prove to them of your passion for agricultural economics.

All these is what you need to highlight in your SOP.

thanks @Bamz but i doubt if my employer would give me letter of leave for that long. i intend resigning once i get the admission. Is is compulsory to get a letter from them?
Why resign when you are yet to get TRV? I will suggest you use whatever company/employment documents you have. Don't resign simply because you have admission form Canada.

Ah bro I'm not a guru On these matters, just someone who would love to be in Canada soon
I have someone in Canada who went for MBA but left the school and has been working for 4 or 5 months now so she can get fees and then switch to nursing. So far, she said she's made 8k cad in 4 months, not bad if you ask me

If you really want to toe that line, you should try and get in then switch courses or something. I don't really know much bout the management course but I doubt positions would really be open to foreigners that much

You can Google and be sure and hopefully gurus will answer you

Cheers

thanks @Bamz but i doubt if my employer would give me letter of leave for that long. i intend resigning once i get the admission. Is is compulsory to get a letter from them?

Please read carefully. Letter of Introduction (L.O.I) and Leave Letter are two different things.

The L.O I tells the V.O that you are working (includes you employment details etc), and your purpose for going to Canada. It's your choice whether to include leave letter or not.

The leave notification could also be explicitly stated in your L.O.I

There are no hard and fast rules. The only rule I've learnt is simplicity. There are so many apps these guys deal with, writing too many stories an what not is at your discretion.

Your employers are humans. Explain to them why a leave letter is important to you if at all you need one.

By the way, the leave letter could as well serve as a hometie, you know the idea that your job is secure when you return and all that.

Please guys I need your candid advice.in my certificates I have my father's name as surname, application for admission same father's surname, first international passport same father's surname. Now married and I want to renew my passport with my husbands surname because of my children, meanwhile my elder brother is my sponsor, now the risk in this my latest change of name is that I won,t have the same surname with my sponsor and if I did not use my husbands name to apply for study permit,my kids are going to have a different surname.now admission application my father's name, visa application husbands name.candid opinion would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

Madam I will advice you not to change your name now, is going to complicate things for you now, and you will not want to go through the trouble of changing your name now. The only thing you need to prove that your children are yours is their birth certificate. Just add your marriage certificate, your children's birth certificate and their passport data pages also your husband's passport data that is enough prove.
