I am a little bit fascinated about life as I write. I know things happen on this planet earth that makes us wonder sometimes if some forces do not direct our steps. Some co-incidents have been reported that are quite hard to believe but always real.

I was in my office sometimes around last month. When some young pretty ladies were walking along the road. I work at the 1st floor and the wall of my office is fully glassed, so I see everything going on right outside the office.


One of the ladies caught my attention. She was quite pretty, classic and I must say, she fully describes my specs in a lady. I just wished in my mind to be outside the office, I would surely get to know her. I watched as they all went beyond sight and went back to my duty.

Some hours later, I went to a particular unit within the company and passed this same set of ladies. Unfortunately I was with my boss and it would be very difficult to start a conversation and besides she was with her friends and some other guys had joined them.

Someone called my name and it happened to be one of the guys with the ladies. I never recognised him as I was not sure I had ever met him. He claimed I was a Facebook friend and that he knew me instantly the momnet he saw me because I was kind of popular among a certain group of bloggers , which he was also a member. Though I could recollect his Facebook name, but I was so sure I had never seen a picture of him.

We talked briefly and parted. I didn't even bother about the lady anymore because it was even obvious I had forgotten about my wish to talk to her.

Later that evening, the guy made a post on Facebook on how they had fun at my workplace (I work at a Tourism Company) and how he met me. I later realized it was an old-school re-union for the guy and his friends. He tagged me in the post and some other friends of his. It was then I thought of the possibility of him tagging the lady in particular.

I checked all the friends he tagged and she was one of them. I did the needful- sent a Friendship request, she accepted, but never seemed to read my messages. So i forgot about her.

I was going through my Facebook last week when I saw her profile and decided to send her another message. She read this time and replied, but with the usual shot mono-syllabic word most ladies use. We got chatting and I asked about her number, which she hesitated to give out. I decided not to bug her any further for that, but left my number in her mail and told her to buzz me anytime and I would return the call.

I had even forgotten about our conversation only for me to receive a text this morning from a strange number wishing me well for the week. She closed with her name and I knew she was the one. I called her immediately

Then I remembered I wished to talk to her the other day and now we are going to be friends.

So guys, be careful and mindful of what you wish for
