I discovered that MTN has just registered my line to another customer
The person bears the same name with me First name and Surname but our last names are different.
I tried getting my line back but to no avail. The good thing is that I know the person they registered her name on my line but she is presently in the East.
The way to go about it I have no idea and that line is so precious to me.

I Have one major line which is MTN. I don't know about others but their customer service is horrible.

My last experience with the thieving network:

I got this text from MTN ''You are a member of VIP class service (Subscription:N100/day) To opt out, Text STOP to 38427"
You know my biggest mistake? I didn't text "stop" to 38427. That was how I was enrolled automatically
Few days later, I realized they've been tampering with my airtime on a daily basis.

I recharged #400 checked my balance and met #300 I called customer care immediately to pour in my anger:

After 30 minutes a lady picked

Agent: Yello this is mtn what's your complaint?
Me: I recharged few minutes ago and #100 was deducted without any notification to that effect. What's going on?
Agent: Okay sir, let me check your account on our system

.....After waiting for like 10minutes, she dropped the call...

I called the second time

Agent : Yello this is mtn what's your complaint?
Me: I narrated my story again
Agent: Give me few minutes sir

....After 5 minutes she came back saying she cant access my accounts now and i would have to call back. Then I snapped...

Me : Have you checked your fraudulent promo you guys enrolled me in unknown to me? with the number 38427
Agent : Oh, we are sorry sir, that seems to be the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience that might have caused you.
Me : Remove my number from the promo now and stop enrolling people to services they didn't request for
Agent : You have been removed sir. Check you phone for the sms. Thank you for using mtn
Me: Thank you for stealing my money mf (In my mind)

I LEFT MTN because OF THEIR BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WENT TO THEIR OFFICE IN V.I. TO LAY A COMPLAIN BUT WAS SHOCKED ABOUT THE WAY THEY RESPONDED TO ME. INSTANTLY, I REMOVE THEIR SIM AND GIVE IT TO THEM AFTER 10 YEARS OF BEING WITH THEM. NOT MINDING THE FACT THAT THEIR IS ABOUT N1,800 CREDIT ON THE SIM LINE. I AM NOW WITH AIRTEL.

GLO is unbeatable in worst service delivery and customer care/support. In short,if you want to frustrate your enemies, buy them Glo lines or advise them to port to Glo. They will spend the remainder or their lives blessing you with holy curses.

I can't agree less with you, for sometimes Now Glo has been deducting #10 from my act everyday when I call d customer service, I was told its is one VAS message I never subscribed to, I ask them to stop it, it stop for sometime later they reintroduce it but this time I don't gt messge of d deduction but just noticed my acct reducing despite not calling I called again it stop.

they later graduate to deducting #50 for caller tune I never subscribed to even in my dream. call d customer care again as usual. I was storied. though it stop, but last week friday I recharge #200, deliberately monitor d acct, I make few calls calculated I how much they support to removed cos am on Glo Infinito, but to my surprise as usual by Sunday #100 deducted.........I was pissed off.

most annoying is d fact that the customer care can take up to 30min before your call is picked, so can't waste my battery.... just decided not to recharge on d line again.

NCC pls save us from this Glo 'thieving with pride'
