The only big challenges most importers face are
1. Fast delivery
2. Accurate measurement of sizes and weight

One big challenge is payment method which I have offered a lot of help for people buying with RMB since China is the biggest market at the moment.

The truth is that due to the exchange rate, things are generally more expensive on Alibaba and Express, Far cheaper on Taobao and 1688.
However, Tao and 1688 were created for locals to buy and sell to foreigners on Alibaba. But with help, you can still buy from there.

I am advising the youths to go into small importation business during this time of recession. It will help them quit channeling all their energy on Blaming Buhari.
The truth is that Nigeria is in a mess. APC just don't want to be honest with the truth.

Yoi can create a free shop on Konga and Jumia, start with something as small as phone batteries.

A boy sent me 15k to buy few phone batteries for him in China, that was his starting capital. Because of his dedication to the small project, I had to leave office and go to the battery Market while it was raining.
Now he is sending 25k and he swore he did not add a kobo outside the initial 15k.

Because of his determination, I will ship his batteries from China for free until he gets to 100k.
So focus more on business section if you are still young, don't go wasting your time with Fashola and Dasuki craps, Ipob, Afonja hatreds, Nothing you say here changes anything if you are nobody.

Sir, please can I partner with you. I have been looking for who to help me out on this. Please I'll send you a pm. Seriously need help

Last i checked Importation is not restricted to Mini Importation alone. Please i need people to share their challenges on Main Importations and All.
I know my greatest challenges is in 2 forms and that is payment in RMB rather than USD and sourcing for a good replica to sell+site where I can get them if I can get this solved by my boss here heaven is d limit

Exchange rate is the biggest limitation to importation business right now. The naira is still on a free fall nd e commerce site like jumia, konga n the rest are over saturated right now. Airvolve.xyz is the latest e commerce site that offers you the opportunity to do business far better than what jumia n the rest can offer.

2yrs after av been into the farming.I lost almost 5000 birds due to ignorant. sad, I used a vacine(lasoteta) for the birds (layers) cos they just started droping, not knowing that they already have newcastle, they just start dieing. Chai, I cried. It almost got to a time that I refused to go to farm again. That same month I lost about 1700creates of egg in an accident while transporting it to a nearby town, It was a miserable month cos I felt like the world shold just end.

Be careful on this thread everyone as some people will post
false claim in a bid to scam other people. If you read a post
of someone here and you think he could help, no harm on
reaching out for his help but if it involves you sending him
your money perhaps for a purchase on your behalf.
Research, investigate and verify the person before parting
with your money. My fellow importers Sabi wetin I dey talk.
All the very best to everyone

Thanks so much for the advise. But how can one get a genuine help. Truly that's the reason why have been holding out since. Those shipping company I know to be genuine are saying they can't order for me. But I'm scared of paying directly to Chinese company. How I wish I have someone in China who can help

Please how do I register on Amazon and ebay as a Nigerian seller. I have tried countless time to register on Amazon, but Nigeria is not among the drop down menu of countries on the site. How do I go about it?

RichYoungNigga:
I have no challenges importing items from China
I just call my Chinese connect from Alibaba and Dhgate, they send me thousands of items, i sell them on eBay and Amazon, at the end of the month i transfer their money to their bank accounts.

God bless China, they have made a lot of people rich.
One time i bought a Rolex watch from China for $200 and took it to a Rolex shop in New York, these guy didn't know it was a replica, i ended up selling the watch for $15,000

If you stay in Nigeria, it will be hard for you to use Amazon.
Shipping period takes just 3 days to get to your buyer, it will be difficult to send your items from Nigeria to your buyer in the USA within 3 days

Mr Connection or No connection, you can never take a replica Rolex watch to a Rolex Store in the US and sell it without them spotting its fake, except you took it to a fake rolex store.

And i still maintain my ground, am not buying it. $200 wont give you such a perfect triple A replica

Ok, good for you

And you think cheating is a way to sustain a biz, unless you are doing just pick and drop, cheating on buyers may bring you instant profit but can never build a brand
