I applied and received my tax return while I was still in the UK. It's among the documents I can't locate now. I will try and give them a call on Monday as that seems to be my only option now . I have searched my laptop for any trace, went through my Barclays account online for any hint, yet no show. I really wish I had written this number down somewhere.

you put the full maintenance (9135 for outside London) in GBP on either side.

MrsDaniel, you can the pounds on the left hand side, then you see the naira equivalent on the right. Just like you have on that screenshot, Pounds left, then Naira on the right.

Please does anybody have an idea of how much I will pay for the health surcharge for a Master's programme that commences in September 2016 and ends in September 2017? Some people said it's £150 while some said it's £225. Abeg which is which?

2) I will also appreciate if anyone can advise me, with a detailed explanation of how I can make the payment of the health surcharge without stress from Naija

Good morning people...please...it may seem a stupid question...but am really confused..2.5m was paid into my Sis account and d 28 days ends on Friday...now we r hearing form d same agent Dt said d 2.5 will go that it won't work now....bcus dad just recently spent a huge amount of money in his last trip hence no amount which will reflect in his account...she's now forced to use an uncles biz account which has over 30m for 2 months intact...now the problem is that we bear separate surname with this uncle. .please what do u think we should do...she's meant to resume Sept 14....really confused...

If your uncle is willing to help, let him transfer the need money into your sister's account or your dad's account and leave it there for another 28days. Please also put extra cos of the fluctuation in exchange rate. If possible you put extra 500k or 300k. I don't think its necessary using agents. These are things you can do singlehandedly. Since resumption day is Sept 14, it will mean you have to pay for priority.

defer to january or next year to be on the safe side. its only the student that can sponsor herself or parents with proof- birth cert. even a wife cannot sponsor her husband. they r that strict so just defer and plan ahead of next year

This is a follow-up on the issue about my lost NI. I promised to update the house on it. So I called the HM Revenue and Customs this morning. After series of security questions the guy insisted he can't give it to me over the phone or even through e-mail due to the data protection act. He said he can only send it to a UK address, which he said can take up to 10-15 working days. I told him I don't have that kind of time, and he then suggested I contact my former employers in the UK as they should be able to give me the number via phone.

So I immediately called the University where I did my Msc because I did some work for them. Within few minutes, the lady at the payroll section gave me my NI number - I only answered few basic questions. I really thank God I have finally found this number o. Thanks to all who made one suggestion or the other on this.

The money you will pay for the IHS surcharge is normally automatically generated. It has a fixed rate of £150 per year but you will likely pay more due to the extra 4 months that would be on your visa.

As for paying from Nigeria, I think some people on here have recommended GTB Naira master card or you can use 2 cards in making payment.

You should have told your dad not to have spent out of the money till the purpose is achieved but the deed has been done.

Also you do not need any agent to help you with UK visa. It is very easy to do yourself .

You cannot use your uncles account cos he is not your legal guardian. You can only use either your own account, parents or legal guardians account.

Yiur school resumes September 14, i honestly think it is too late now to start counting another 28 days.

I would advise you just let it go and wait till January cos some schools even have deadlines for the issuance of CAS.

If she hasn't paid her school fees she can pay the balance and ask the school to update her CAS. Please stay away from agents most times they do more harm than good.

I don't think that's correct! And next time before you allow someone break your heart with rumours, ask for evidence/ source of the information. A great number of people are rumour peddlers!
