Greetings everyone,

This is a follow-up on the issue about my lost NI. I promised to update the house on it. So I called the HM Revenue and Customs this morning. After series of security questions the guy insisted he can't give it to me over the phone or even through e-mail due to the data protection act. He said he can only send it to a UK address, which he said can take up to 10-15 working days. I told him I don't have that kind of time, and he then suggested I contact my former employers in the UK as they should be able to give me the number via phone.

So I immediately called the University where I did my Msc because I did some work for them. Within few minutes, the lady at the payroll section gave me my NI number - I only answered few basic questions. I really thank God I have finally found this number o. Thanks to all who made one suggestion or the other on this.

I don't think that's correct! And next time before you allow someone break your heart with rumours, ask for evidence/ source of the information. A great number of people are rumour peddlers!

Hello Everyone,

I am applying for a PBS Tier 4 Student Visa and I need to make use of the Priority Service (extra £150). On the www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk, under the 'Book Appointment' section, there are several Visa Appointment Types - 1. Standard Appointment 2. PBS Tier 4 Student 3. Premium Lounge 4. Primetime and 5. Super Priority Visa Appointment - GBP £750.

Does anyone know which one I am to select to ensure that I use the Priority Service (extra £150) , which is processed in 5 - 7 working days?
Or does one book an appointment as PBS Tier 4 Student and then make payment for priority service afterwards?.

I think she has been issued CAS already ooo cuz there was a little payment of 1000 pounds....what do u think...we shd still wait till January?

How come the school even issued her CAS without checking her statement of account to ensure it is sufficient for maintenance? I think that is part of the responsibility of a sponsor.

Since your dad's account has already been touched and tampered with, using your uncles account is a big NO. The only option here is to wait till January. Honestly September 14 is just to close by to start counting another 28 days (my opinion)

MrsDaniel, you can the pounds on the left hand side, then you see the naira equivalent on the right. Just like you have on that screenshot, Pounds left, then Naira on the right.

Not all Unis request for Bank Statement. Interesting thing is, she can still make it if she starts counting the 28 days ASAP. If her CAS states 'latest start date' (which is usually 2 weeks after resumption), it might be worth a shot using priority service.

Thats true....there might be another 2 or 3 weeks latest start date added to the September 14. You are very correct sir.

@nenyetube if your sister can move the money into her account tomorrow or latest Wednesday, then it might still be worth giving it a try using the priority service.

Well it depends on the card u use. As at today, stanbic charged 350 . So it depends. I wl advice u to do ur tb test now dat u r free so dat by den u jst do ur interview. Interview is just one day. Am far away, would hv done my tb test den wait for just interview.
