I am an iphone user, so I won't be helping you with my advice due to sentiments. Android is good but you already have that, between a blackberry z10 and a windows phone, i would advice going for the blackberry, because it is a very simple and well articulated phone, it won't stress you that much at all, the idea of whatsapp being discontinued on it, you already have an android with which you can whatsapp with so that won't be a problem for you. Windows phone is quite stressful and has this ugly looking interface and crazily down on apps and sucks alot of data just like android do, so go for a blackberry instead of a windows, i would personally do it if i were the one.

Op, if the reason u detest android is because it eats data, then I don't see how windows would be any better because the difference between android and Windows in terms of data consumption ain't that much.. It is negligible. In that case ur best choice would be blackberry. And I don't mean bb10 because that one too consumes data, though not as much as android. Ur best bet would be the old blackberry phones running os 7.

good luck bro, don't confuse your mind so much , for the task you want to perform with the new phone, a blackberry z10 is much better.. Remember a blackberry z10 is a high end phone with a less data consuming os , and still very affordable, while the windows you plan on getting for that same affordable amount is just a mid range-lowrange smartphone with little or low specs.. So the blackberry z10 is much better than it in every way..

Blackberry has officially killed support for bb10 devices and even both WhatsApp and Facebook are planning to end support by December this year.

But the windows mobile on the other hand are still on Production and they are improving on regular basis.

Go for lumia, since you want it as a secondary phone. Would have suggested bb10, but it consumes more than lumia.

Os 10 runs both android and blackberry. if u want to check it, download android whatsapp on bb10 and look for where u will get msg that whatsapp will no longer support the phone

I'm using both BlackBerry 10 and an android phone, I can tell you for a certainty that BlackBerry 10 consumes less data...I don't know much about Windows phone, but IMO, I think BlackBerry 10 still consumes less, in contrast
