Chei, my first test was tonight. Thank God I passed with flying colours. Omo, this life ehn... As they say, be careful what you wish for, cos you might just get it. I got and moved into an apartment on Saturday evening. One of the front desk girls for the apartment, chei she fine no be small. 5ft 7", looooooonnnnngggg hair, she had so much energy, like 34D or 36C too, cute little thing. I'm not a front-package person (I'm a yansh guy) but there was something about this girl that really caught my eye, you know those girls you just have a feeling they'd be freaks in the room? she gave me the impression. Them don drink ehn... them don guage wella, she was only tipsy but the guy was super high. omo, na so I greet them waka pass, she just jump up, start to dey act funny. "wow, you're so composed and cool... I like this, do you have a gf in Nigeria?" plenty other things. next thing... well, I'm leaving... will I at least get a hug? I smile and say no. Omo, na so this girl take am P. you mean you won't hug me? what's it? Is it that you don't like me? Am I not your kind of girl? that's rude, this one... that one. Placement test should be in both maths and English and the questions are almost the same syllabus as high school and SAT test which involves algebra, arithmetic, etc. just like what we called post utme here in Nigeria

true, i've searched online for the new sat material, but couldn't find any, just the detailed syllable from the college board and some practice tests. I may use my secondary maths text to prepare for the math section, and the TOEFL materials you sent me to prepare for the English section.

It is still the same syllabus either old or new SAT.

College board just redefined the test, before applicants register and the test officially comprises 3 sections (essay, critical reading and mathematics) but now applicant register and the test officially comprises 2 sections (critical reading and mathematics) while essay is optional and when applicant pick essay applicant will pay for it.


The only difference I noticed few days ago was that college board didn't make eassy section compulsory for the new SAT, it is the applicant that will personally request for the essay section during registration and then pay for it and which makes it higher than the new SAT

Another good news I discovered there is that applicant can register for this new SAT by themselves without going through Gieva anymore..

and there are no penalties or mark deductions for wrong answers in the new SAT.

Try downloading Barron's SAT 2400, it helps with the math section. For the Critical reading any text would do (the more difficult the better) also download all the sample SAT materials available on the college board website... that should be enough.

Yes for sure it can count against u except if when asked you have a good explanation to why you did not take a test
