An high Court cannot set aside the ruling of another high Court since both are of the same level, except it is done by court of appeal. So I think the first judgement still holds until when it is upturn by a higher court. |

[quote author=omenka post=48547840]They should declare PDP a terrorist organisation already. A party that founded and sponsors Boko Haram (a terrorist organisaion) should have no business existing in a free society. A party that founded and sponsors Niger Delta Avengers (a terrorist organisation) should have no business seeking stability and progress in a free society. A party that founded and sponsors iPod (a terrorist organisation) should have no business seeking political power in a united Nigerian state. #Awaiting that incorrigible dolt's love letter on this post as well. ![]() Ps: Before some people begin dey complain about time of posting, lemme quickly add- if you get to grab a copy of the series I'm watching, you wouldn't mind robbing yourself of sleep as well. Best thing ever on tv! #House of Cards S4. ; house of card is one of d best movie i have ever watch. Frank Underwood and his wife Claire show that politic is a game of not only mind but careful planning. It can also make one dangerous if u are in dire need of power. But above all, politics whether in America of Nigeria is not totally pure. |

IllegalMoney:you are wrong, Abang was Correct. Even the Port Harcourt ruling was clever .it never insisted the party should hold the election.get your facts right.it only asked the relevant authorities to provided support.some of you are just funny and blinded by your myopic and bigoted minds.at the appeal or supreme court level the port Harcourt ruling can not stand. Even on channels Tv yesterday the SAN interviewed said the same thing. The Supreme court made a decision on this issues since 2004. Do your research, even a year1 law student knows this |

The Federal High Court in Port Harcourt should have declined jurisdiction to hear the matter, same having been brought before its sister Court in Abuja. The Judge in the Port Harcourt Court is the one causing confusion. |

I am not an APC or PDP faithful but I'll like to make these points: 1. Justice A. Mohammed of the FCT High court ruled that Sheriff's tenure is interim and not till 2018 as claimed by Sheriff. 2. Justice Liman upheld the PDP may convention; thus, held the convention that removed Sheriff. Note: the case before Liman is the first in all these controversies. 3 Sheriff tabled his prayers before the appeal court and should have waited for the higher court but instead ran to another high court of equal jurisdiction. Thats illegal. 4. The Makarfi's faction tabled a case before Justice Wakifa who upheld the decision of Justice Liman. 5. Justice Abang is not an appeal court and should have refered to the appeal court. Infact all parties should have waited for the appeal to Justice Liman's judgment since they are a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction. 6. The Police immediately took sides with the Justice Abang's judgement and took upon itself such courage to flaunt the orders of Justices Liman and Wakifa. What is that if not politics with the government trying to enforce one party system. Or is it because Justice Abang threatened with a Form 48? 7. Infact today there is already an appeal against the judgement of Justice Abang. Hence, the convention can hold. I don't know why politicians keep toying with our judicial system and these justices keep helping them to destroy the system. |

It is dangerous to trust Hausa Fulani's man with power. I wonder how Nigerians are going to endure the remaining years of this anti Christ government. |

State of emergency has to be declared quickly in the nation's Judicial System. How on earth will the same Court be giving divergent ruling over a particular matter? It is absurd, awkward and unhealthy. The Judiciary is in a messy situation, seems to lack dignity, equity and fairness. |

chrisblack:You're the wrong one here. Tell me of any appellate court that invalidated Justice Liman's judgement? The preceding Judgement stands and any injunction not coming from an Appeal court is null and void. You should know that |

INEC should go with the first ruling by the High Court in Port Harcourt, because it supercedes that of the Abuja court. The position of the security forces in all these drama, will surely reveal so many things. |
