Second half of the match was pathetic uncoordinated and purpose less. No bite. No passion. Still searching for team '94 & '96 Eagles and dream team 1 respectively. I can't find in these new set of players.
Mikel and Ekong stood out though.

Add Daniel to that list... Our attackers let us down on the night... Any time you play against a German team at any level, you will surely be punished if you don't take your chances.

I had high hopes for this team..never been this passionate. No one expected them to come this far despite all that happened prior and during the tournament. I wish u guys the best of luck. I am pretty sure if they had prepared well, they'd come out top but u know, Africans will always be africans..always waiting till the very last minute. These were the same german team that trashed Nigeria at d u20 world cup last year..bt not the same u20 Nigerian guys..the only thing I think is lost in this team is Synergy which the german have in abundance..

Something about ekong is making his presence felt at the back line, he does not easily tires, and has a very great deal of composure at the defense as well.

We sure need him for his qualities in the super eagles.
