Nigeria has failed to harness some of her vast human resources who have since pledged allegiance to other countries at the Rio 2016 Olympics in Brazil.

Morolake Akinosun
At the Rio Olympics 2016, there are about 11,550 athletes participating, from 207 nations. It is clear that some countries have athletes competing for them who are from other nations originally. Nigeria is especially affected, as the treatment of athletes by the country needs to be greatly improved.

That's how one lady like that sponsored herself to row for Nigeria. Tomorrow when she begins to row for Guinea Bissau somebody will say 'One of us has left'.

For this her thoughtful action, was she given a heroine's welcome to the fold to inspire her and others on the need for patriotism?

Yeye President. For im mind, he dey focus on governance o! Small time we go see picture wey he snap in front of TV wey dey show Olympics angry

Other Nigerians who already switch to represent a different country
If you are in their shoes or you have a younger one who have options of representing other countries in any other sports will you advice them against it?

Southern Nigeria always excelling. The two great tribes always in habit of bashing themselves repping us well. How great would it be if they can sincerely work together even for once?

We keep deceiving ourselves, even online shops sells fakes.
Actual 50,000mah power bank should require a sack to carry but here Konga can sell this fake trash and call it 50,000mah solar chargeable power bank. I bought one, opened it up, looked at the cells inside (1200mah X 6 = 7200mah) and realized how they outsmarted me.

Our athletes go to countries where their talents will be appreciated and make enough money to plan for their future.

what a sorry country.

I pity Nigerians. They can only complain. None of them has the guts to stage and organize serious revolutions or protests against their government. disunited cowards.

a country where youth have no interest or guts to join serious politics.

Nigerians only care for money and the easy way out. they will sell their souls to the highest bidder.

a country that **** has no indigenous thought process or nationalism.

a country that re-elected a millitary dictator in democratically held elections. Can you imagine?! grin

Useless set of people. ill never deal with these people. they might slit my throat for money. Nigerians care only for survival.
