Hello Alvinkem,
This same scenario is playing out with my husband's application.
He has called Pretoria severally but always placed on answering machine for about 45minutes without the call been attended to.
This has happened over 4 times now.
Kindly advise. Thank you

Well He will need to be patient for a while as mine took long to be answered too, keep trying and again I hope it's the right number he's calling, +27 12 423 6203
Try that one and rember to be patient.

Hello . I know this is a belated congrats but congrats anyway. I applied to the same school but currently waiting for an offer. Would you be kind enough to shed some light on some questions I have below:

- Can I use my uncle as a sponsor. we have the same surname
- Was there any interview done by the school or the immigration office either by appearance or telephone
- Also what do you think is the most important part of the visa process I shouldn't make mistake on.

Thank you.

Good morning house. I hope everyone had a wonderful night. Please I have been an ardent follower but I think i might need direct informations at this point. So do help a brother out.
Bottom line is, I was personally trying to process travelling to Aussie alone to study and eventually get PR through Msc only to be advised that upon completion, I might not get a job with that Msc especially if it is not on the Sol list. Then something popped up, I was advised to go for Bsc degree instead as it guarantees job after completion and also PR if the course is on SOL list of course. But because I am primarily a political science graduate I feel I have lesser attractive courses for Bsc on SOL list, I'm now consedring going to the registry with my fiancée, sponsor her instead and with the support of her family to study Nursing at Bsc level, while I go with her majorly to work my ass off and at the end we can both get PR once she gets qualified at the end of her studies, then I can go ahead with an advance diploma even before she's done in courses that can give me access to jobs as well. My question is, what are the pros and cons of my plan? What are the cost I'm looking at? Because I have been told there are schools tha
t do not require the 60k thingy instead straight cash payment of first semester fees of around 16k. Please help a brother.
your plan is a good one. You can work while she studies. I knw a lot of people that came that way.. she can also work too.

And you know all these from being here how many months again?

The Naija wey you come from, all of you are loyal there abi? Or is it not smiling at others and stabbing them in the back that is the order of the day there?

You reflect what you are. You believe they are fake smiles, without even speaking with them. It shows who you truly are and what you yourself are capable of doing. Attitude like this will not get you far.

Why don't you enrol in a Postgrad diploma in Education? and use that as a route to PR?

You can get a skill assessment as a teacher with your Naija BSc + Aus Pgd, without work experience. Just do your 1yr (9mths) pgd, then apply for skill assessment onshore. Once you get a positive assessment, you can apply for 189 or 190.

Pgd is about 21k...but it is faster than diploma or masters, and gives you a higher qualification sef.
