Medals are not won by miracles; It takes adequate preparations and training to be on the medals table. Our athletes are used to making something out of nothing, but such magic has lost its powers. Athletes with few weeks of training under their belt cannot defeat those who have been training for years. There is really no end in sight to our woes. It is as sure as the rising of the sun that we are set to repeat this same 'feat' in four years' time.

Just look at London Olympics' result that a lot of money was released and preparation Was top gear. In my opinion wrong hands re managing the sporting affairs in Nigeria. E.G You can imagine a Gas station owner who knows nothing about sport/football being our NFF chairman, a Bar. being the sport minister, a retired soldier being boxing coach... it goes down the line like that what do you expect.
