The purpose of opening this thread out of my busy schedule is to help fellow Nairalanders,so they don't fall for heartless scammers.

1. When a scammer is talking through the thread he or she create,peruse gently so as to understand his or her game.

2. Pretend that you care and tell the scammer that you care by playing along.

3. By your actions the scammer will open up and make sure you check for flaws.

4. Let the scammer know that you are about to give out the money he or she asked for,so that he or she will relaxed.

5. When a scammer open his or her thread,other Nairalanders will see it,and may feel its a scam,but pretend ortherwise and gbam the scammer will be busted.


These was how I busted a scammer with the moniker of hillary400 in the Family section of Nairaland.

His other moniker is baddest095. He stylishly open a thread soliciting for 5k and I played along. Not long after he was busted by my smart brain.

We all must be careful when we want to help those in need because scammers are on Nairaland prowling day and night to reap where they didn't sow.

the easiest way: don't look for awoof or free things, if its too cheap or too good to be true then its not true.

I learnt my lesson the hard way. I do not blame myself tho cos it was an official data advert banner I saw here with the caption "#500 for 1GB" thank God I decided to test them with #500

Nothing goes for nothing. Don't for in the same pit twice cos scammers are too good to be real. They are dangerous people.
