a lot of ACTION in this update even tho no be action book we dey read...Dami and Rose, Vega and Bola...Even the flirt Femi and the mumu Ada that has no appreciation for her man...well at least she didn't go thru with it...This update has mixed Love and Lust.Bola and Vega acted plainly on lust,tho the love is also there..I ve always imagined lust for the one u love to be interesting! ‘am fine….just face the road…’ he replied curtly….. it surprised him that he’d just cheated on Carol for the third time with Bola and he wasn’t feeling any guilt…

Instead, he felt this peace….this satisfaction…and it got him confused….

‘have you ever been in love Ismail’? he was forced to break the silence…. He had to voice his thoughts…

And for once, he doubted what he once believed in….all his life, he’d never felt anything for any other woman save for Carol…but after kissing her, after looking into his eyes….he felt that tingling sensation in his tommy….

‘hmmm….yes, I was in love with a girl, her name was Faiza….but she hurt me real bad…so we broke up’ he rolled his eyes….why was his boss asking me that question?

‘are you in love sir? Oh….sorry you’re in love with Carol’ he shut his mouth and felt stupid for asking that question…

‘so what made you think you were in love with Faiza…’? Vega ignored his question and pressed on…

‘uhmmm….when we were together….it felt like the world had stopped and we were the only ones…it felt special and I always had this feeling of fulfillment …’ he smiled as the memories came back…

‘wow….that’s nice’ he paused and tried comparing what his P.A had just told him with what he’d done with Bola….


Somehow, it was true….he felt happy? Peace….but it wasn’t real…she had a boyfriend and he had a fiancée….

‘who sir’? Ismail wondered….

‘Bee….i saw her and her boyfriend, the guy that hit you earlier…’ Vega explained….


‘no, you’re kidding me….what were they doing there’? he felt like slapping himself for asking another stupid question….

‘you’re asking really crazy questions….hope you ain’t drunk’ Vega observed…what had gotten into Ismail….he seemed disconnected….absent minded…

‘am fine Boss…am just shocked at such a coincidence….wow finally’ he smiled….did his boss talk to her? He was curious…

‘hey, don’t get any funny ideas…nothing happened’ Vega had seen the way Ismail raised his brows…

‘it wouldn’t be a bad thing….can I be honest with you boss…’?

‘sure…go ahead…but let it not be anything stupid’ Vega replied….

‘I think you’re in love with this girl, from the first day you guys met….i saw the fire between you two…I thought it was attraction at first…but it’s something deeper….but you are fighting it….but I’ll advise you to listen to your heart’… Ismail advised…

‘have you ever thought about Carol? Cause listening to you or my heart means I have to pursue Bee….and she doesn’t even feel the same for me…she’s a call girl remember’? he tried wriggling his way out of this one truth he hated….


‘why would you think she doesn’t feel the same way….? I’ve seen the way she looks at you….she loves you boss, believe me’ Ismail was astonished as to why Vega would think such….was he that blind….i’ve seen that guy somewhere…that Dami guy…frankly he doesn’t look like her lover…he’s way too young to start with …he looks more of an acquaintance….you know the media….they can spin off anything just to make waves….?


‘and as for that call girl issue…I think you’re over emphasizing it…one, you don’t know much about this girl, maybe she was forced into that lifestyle because of some financial challenges…you don’t know a thing about her….so don’t judge her boss….what you should do is get closer to her….tell her how you feel and work it out…anybody can change if loved dearly. Trust me!’


‘and how about Carol’? Vega insisted…..


‘Boss….i don’t know what to say about that…but do whatever makes you happy…after all you ain’t even married to her and your father doesn’t approve of her….’ He replied…

‘I can’t do that….she’s a part of me’ he couldn’t leave Carol….but was he happy being with her?

It was a fun night no doubt, she’d gotten more than she’d bargained for….her only wish was to see him again….

‘what is it’? Rose watched her friend….Bee had been acting all up since they returned from the club….

‘what are you talking about? Vega?’ Rose was confused….

‘I saw him at SAVORY…when we first walked in, then I met him when I took a walk outside…and I begged him to make love to me….now I feel stupid…could you imagine that he disappeared without a trace? Like what we did meant nothing’?

Carol had returned from the meeting she had with Brianna hours ago and hadn’t said a word to her…what had happened?

‘am fine Ene….don’t bother about me…just go back to sleep’ Carol replied….still shocked at the realization of who Brianna was…

‘I should go back to sleep? Don’t tell me you have’nt forgiven me about the things I said to you in the afternoon’? Ene sat up…. She’d seen this coming…Carol was a very unforgiving person…she didn’t let go of things easily…

‘you’re funny’ Carol looked away…how could she tell anybody about Brianna’s proposal?

‘am sorry Carol…you told me about your affair with Tony in confidence, and I used it against you in my moment of anger…am so sorry…you have to forgive me’ Ene begged….

Though she didn’t think what her friend had done was right…that didn’t justify her actions earlier…


‘I forgive you Ene…though I was very angry and resolved in my heart never to be your friend…am really sorry too’ Carol apologized, she was wrong to judge Ene earlier…people made mistakes…like she did few years ago….when Vega had gone for that training in Qatar….but it wasn’t a mistake…she wanted him, lusted after him….only for the lion to discover what they’d done…

‘why are you apologizing….’? Ene was surprised, as her friend never used the word ‘sorry’…

‘what’? Carol widened her eyes…

‘my god….something tells me…your meeting with Brianna didn’t go on well…tell me …what happened’? Ene focused on her friend who was such a terrible liar…

‘okay…it’s a tough one and you have to keep this to yourself….’ Carol licked her lips…was this the right thing to do?

Ene had already known most of her dirty secrets…was it right to feel her in on more?

‘you were right and I was wrong….Brianna is not who we all think she is…’ Carol paused….her mouth felt dry…
