when u were in max, ur lighting was better. (ofcourse, i am a Maya hater ) or download iray renderer for maya.

Secondly, pay more attention to your anatomy. You have a lotta potential. I like seeing character Modellers. Its never easy to venture into xtr designing.

oh thanks I am just switching to Maya so I'm still struggling with it am only using tutorials anyway and you know that autodesk will stop Max after this 2017 so a lot of Max users are running to Maya if really take it as your career. No for now but will start rigging and animating soon

Anyway Softimage was scrapped but a lotta vfx hauz still uses it in their pipeline ask Rodeo (Vfx handlers of Immortals & Game of thrones) and MPC (handlers of Godzilla & Chronicles of Nadia)
Nothin beats Softimagez face robot.

Use softwares that make the best outta ur creativity and not becos its reigning. Can u model a Ray Bans glasses for me?

Good criticism, every artist needs an honest criticism to grow to his zenith, olaakinyinka is good @ modelling, so modelling a character with good anatomy will show case him better... Am new to 3dmax but not that new sha... The biggest challenge I have now is facial rig, am that lazy that I don't want to use morph target, I just prefer CAT rig cos its faster and achieve same result with bone rigging that's y I need xray cat plugin...
