Jazzyjazz other mums have spoken well. You don't need a fit to fly at 20 weeks to board an aircraft according to airline regulations, well except if you have had issues in your first trimester like bleeding or spotting. You will only need that sometime in your 3rd trimester when your bump is very big and visible

But it's not a bad idea to inform your doctor of your trip just incase he feels it's unsafe but I seriously doubt he will say that.

Pls enjoy your trip. You won't have this chance again in a very long time especially after baby comes since you have a busy husband

Just follow what sugah and AlphaHandMaiden said concerning your flight and comfort. They are great tips especially the part about having enough spit bags.

_{If na me sef, if dokita dey fear make I no go, I go still go o. I get small stubbornness plus plenty faith say nothing dey happen. I just won't stand for too long and have enough food and drinks to keep me company but that's just me sha. No do like me Biko listen to your doctor}

Jazzyjazz you've been adequately advised! Please take the trip and ask you doctor if it's OK for you to take pcm on the flight to avoid blood clots( which happens rarely but could) and try and get enough movement now and then to help with circulation.

Mamas that have not shopped may God make it easy for una o! Things are just doubling anyhow went there today again and my o my most of the stuffs we got 2weeks back have added like 1000-500 naira.

Like a mama suggested sometime back please don't be shy to ask relatives that have hung boot to help you to their baby things they no longer have need for, you can also get fairly used baby cot,pram,swings,clothes etc at the City of David charity shop! Called ITS NEW TO ME mist lekki VI and Ikoyi top shots donate their used items there and many are very hardly used and could pass as brand new. It's located opposite The Four Points hotel at Dideolu crescent on Oba Oniru estate besides Healing Strip hospital Maroko sandfield Victoria Island extension Lekki(the junction before the Admiralty circle plaza).

Just my two cents sha as country hard.

It is known to help some women, as you said. I wasn't diligent in applying mine, cos of the heat it caused me at the time, but my elder sister applied hers religiously (she almost dey rub am for her dream sef) and still got pleeeeeeenty strechies before she put to bed...
You can give it a try... It may or may not work...
There's no harm in trying...

Hi all, its been ages. I miss everyone here.
I just want to say something quickly. It takes guts for someone to come out here to ask for help. I personally think if you cant help, please ignore the plea. Don't kick a broken woman. Its not a good feeling. I remember years back I met someone here. She is the most liveliest person I've ever seen. Yet she was silently fighting her battles.( Pregnant and abandoned) She came here to have fun and be happy. When she asked for help she was thoroughly lashed. I reached out to her and discovered she wasn't even feeding well, she was squatting with a friend, hadn't registered for antenatal etc.

I'm saying all this so we can be careful with our utterance. I've known abundance and I've also known complete lack. A situation you don't even know where your next meal is coming from. I was smiling and putting up a happy face through it all. Nobody knew the challenges I faced. I'm very careful when it comes to things like this. I move on if I'm not touched to give but the last thing I will do is harass the individual involved.

One love my beautiful family. May God keep us all in good health and also meet us at the point of our needs.

Something similar happened to us sometime back, when we were defrauded by someone in a business. I put up the courage to call one of the mamas in this room (whom I considered as family), not knowing that would be the greatest mistake ever to be made.

To make it short, she called me A SCAMMER.

Well, I just want to advice that it is an honor to have someone call out to you for help in this present time and economic situation. If we cant help each others as Parents in this room, then its not family.

May God help us as we be each others keepers.

Want to add something I just remembered...
I noticed that changing environment helped to reduce my MS to a reasonable extent. Whenever I stepped out of the house, it would vanish, but as soon as I got back home, it would get bad again...
So, who knows? That MS may just disappear as soon as you get to your destination...
Just remain positive...

Just like you said, you may never ever have time for it again after now. Even though you and DH can always make the trip some other time but I understand where your hubby is coming from, as in he wants the honeymoon trip not just any other trip. Cos if baby comes, that trip may not happen soon and if it does, then it won't be honeymoon again, it will now b family vacation cos baby have interfered
I understand what morning sickness do to people, you may not even feel like travelling, shopping, kpeks and all the plenty groove things your hubby will want for both of you.
Anyway, check your level of morning sickness and know if you can go through with the plan. But if he insist, follow him, then any day the MS hold you bad bad una go sitdown for hotel room, if E gree you, una go waka/groove. At the end of the day, I think he will be happy that he made it happen and not look back and feel bad about the whole issh. My opinion
Don't forget to buy chocolate oooo.

Hello mama's, jst saw dis post abt a mama in need. Wow, it's rilly hard to judge one by pictures on Facebook or any social media, cos to me, most pple leave an undercover life, nt telling d world how bad or worst it had been for u.

I onced seek for help here, although due to how new iIwas in d thread, ibelieved most of u stil remember how I was tongue lashed, in fact humiliated,even if am anonymous, i cried, lik I knew all d faces here, doh I apologized for it, later, wen hav even forgotten, one mama ND another reached out to me, even if tins aren't better yet, iIstil tnk God for d little help dey rendered, it's a life saver.

Pls, if u re in d position of helping odas, pls do, as for me, ipray dat God blesses me ND my dh in dis buhari era so we can touch life's in anyway.

Shea butter is actually one of the best emollients out there because it helps in keeping the skin moist and hydrated. And that is one way to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy.
It helped me a lot. I alternate between shea butter and coconut oil and there was no trace of stretch mark on my tummy.
You could give it a try. It might not be too late. Don't let your bump go dry. Always keep it hydrated to prevent more stretch marks from occuring.

Hahahaha. It's super easy. The course I studied has little to do with how I write.

The key tips are:

1) type your sentences in full. No abbreviations. No "text speak".
2) use punctuation marks throughout
3) split your post into paragraphs as it makes it a lot easier to read
4) minimise the use of pidgin English and slangs
5) just type out your thoughts
6) do not apologise for any "long" posts grin

Nennynj you can start but since you already have them it will take a while before you see results cos it's difficult to fade off stretch marks once they have appeared but it's doable.

I dont know if mecure does it.
U can call them to find out or pop in to their office in phase 1 to ask.
No2 niyi ogunbi street... close to lekki phasr 1 gate.

but will prefare she takes d trip to ikeja of possible... u can call to book for a suitable time.... the ikeja is trusted n the owner is a professor. . Even in his absence she will be well taken care of....

Since she is carrying multiples, she would need a dopler but later on in d pregnancy....

The place i use on addo road... the man cannot operate the 3d machine joor... lol
I have been there over 3 times and gender is still guess work at 30weeks preg.

He hasnt been able to capture my lo face too for 3d.... says baby is facing inwards
Imagine o... lol.
When even side view will do sef.... mschewww.
Just got to ikeja if u ask me.....
