This isn't the time to start measuring dicks, this isn't the time for this needless 'victor or vanquished' gyrations, we just need to put aside any differences and the needless taunts (which can only provoke matters to be worse) because it doesn't help anybody.

I am a Nigerian. Don't tell me about oil as it belongs to Nigeria. Finding it in my father's backyard doesn't make it my own but the federal government's. And to me, the whole exercise of new exploration is to stabilize the creek hotheads. Whatever, I am talking of the senselessness of destroying the commonwealth just to spite other Nigerians.

What you should be advocating is the maintenance of law and order, and not giving the creek terrorists the impression that they have what it takes to blackmail the government with violence. That will never be tolerated and the message is loud and clear in the creeks.

I heard Buratai on tv addressing soldiers. He said something like "protect and respect the rights of the people of the Niger delta but when you meet the criminals, CLEAR THEIR DOUBTS " and two days after the soldiers CLEARED THE DOUBTS of a militant criminal leader and some of his commanders in River state.
I think that sent a very strong message to other criminals hence the unilateral ceasefire.
